Posada del Caminante

I really liked this hostel! Jason is very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, fresh towels provided every 2 days, and one of the best showers I've used in south America! The dorms have room to place your things and there's lots of space to dry clothes after visiting the beach in the shared areas. There's a small, well equipped kitchen (with fridge in the office) for cooking simple meals and hammocks to relax in. The location isn't super central, but the town is very small so it takes no time to get anywhere, and a good supermarket is just around the corner.

In the upper rooms, the WiFi wasn’t great but not too much of an issue as the central area works fine

צוות מקסים! אופציה לכביסה על חשבון המקום, חדרים מקסימים, ואפילו מקרר אישי בחדר. בננות טריות לשימוש המתארחים בכל שעות היום.

החוסר במזגן היה מאתגר עם הטמפרטורות הגבוהות באי, המטבח היה מאובזר אך קטן לאור כמות המתארחים בהוסטל, דבר שהקשה על בישול ארוחות.

Nice building and location was good. No refrigerator in the cooking area did not make sense. Being on the 3rd floor was hard. Jason was great, brought my luggage to the room. I left the room pretty early and Jamison told me he would bring it back down at leaving time, not only he did that, but actually sent my luggage to the pier for me on a taxi; so I did not have to go back to pick it up. Additionally he made sure to send back a beer I had left in the office’s fridge. He also was very helpful, trying to advise on what to do, to change my ferry tickets date. The only disappointment was not having a/c in the room. I would still recommend this place!!!
