Hôtel Mercure Thionville Centre Porte du Luxembourg

The room 308 is a disaster for this price! Ice cold and just a bed without any further place.

The only positive thing was the friendly staff.

The images do not match reality. The furniture is extremely old. The heating system is terrible and outdated. I don’t know how this hotel has 4 stars.

the housekeeping was keeping opening the door in the morning regardless there are people inside, Zero privacy, 1 day out of the 4 nights the housekeeping did not clean the room, just because she did not clean it in the morning, while we left the room at 12 pm, The receptionist is one woman show she does everything no other staff, no one to assist in the luggage, or any other thing, Also, upon checkout the receptionist charged us again the taxes while we have paid upon arrival the tax and she was confused with the calculation which is also confusing for us

Hôtel bruyant

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. When confronted with the problem (see below), they reacted well. In my case, I received a discount worth one half night's cost.

The wifi didn't work. We were there over the course of two nights and the wifi was at best intermittent, m mainly out of order. This is nowadays unacceptable.

Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé, accueil chaleureuxet très agréable, chambres confortables et lieux cosy aux bord de la moselle. Vraiment très satisfait!!
