Didnt have the breakfast but the location is great and easy to get to beach lakeside has im epileptic and have to walk slow plenty of places to stop and rest ould highly recomend to family and friends the view was beautiful wen we come southport allways stay at the clifton

Only one problem stayed in twin room sea view but couldnt open one of the windows which had sticker telling not to open

Great hotel dated but clean

My partner left a very expensive tshirt in the wardrobe we phoned straight away. Staff said it wasn't there. Clearly that had been taken

Breakfast and Dinner very good Room okay but no Fridge , Telephone or Room Service The Staff very good and helpful

The entrance (up the ramp ) was the dirtiest I have ever seen Each side of the hand rail had obviously never been cleaned in years and bad smell The front steps also not cleaned

Reasonable location between the town and the beach if you don't mind a walk

Unable to turn off the radiators in the room and it was over 25 degrees C OUTSIDE. WiFi was a joke. Less than. 80dbm which was not enough for anything to connect to on the 3rd floor.. Place undergoing an 'update' but it is clear this is cosmetic and when the inside of the lift doors are covered in engraved graffiti, well draw your own conclusions. Basically it's a cheap wedding venue rather than a hotel
