Best Western Valley Hotel

The staff were all very pleasant and professional.

We weren't actually there when an event was taking place but it looked like a hot buffet reception/party was going to take place in the hallway en route to the upstairs rooms and some rooms were located off the actual hallway, although these may have belonged to the party guests so it might matter less.

All good, loved it!

Poor choice of quality wine

Location and great staff

A few years ago we stayed here by chance only to discover the 1940's event was happening. There was also a wedding while we were there. We had such a great time. So we booked last year for this weekend, we were so looking forward to our return visit. Unfortunately, selfish wedding guest chatting loudly outside our rooms all evening, children running up and down our corridor. Girls shrieking for no reason. I have had very little sleep. I won't be returning.

We used the facilities whist staying on their grounds and found that this was a great hotel and the staff were so welcoming.

Room was fine but a little on the small side and ours was up more than one set of stairs and along several narrow corridors so there was a slight claustrophobic feeling. I am sure more spacious rooms would have been available had we booked earlier. There were a number of weddings taking place whilst we were there which meant some areas were effectively off limits

The hotel is stylish with beautiful gardens and a quick 15 min walk into Ironbridge Gorge. Extremely clean and comfortable room (superior room 17 overlooking gardens). Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had lots of choice, was well presented and well cooked. We also had an evening meal which was delicious and once again the staff were brilliant. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Food and staff were excellent

Room was on top floor ..no lift....... We are both in our 70.s and struggle with luggage and stairs. Did phone hotel when I booked with booking .com to query accessabbility to room... was told no problem.....
