Americas Best Value Inn Iola

It was quiet and clean and in a good location for us. The price was very reasonable. The room for soft drinks and snacks was hot the snack machine was empty and not very clean. The continental breakfast was simply pathetic, if there was anything in there to eat early by 730 or 8 o’clock it was gone and was not refilled. This is in spite of the advertised continental breakfast prep at 6 AM to 9 AM.

Likes nothing about this place. Filthy the towels looked gross like they hadn’t been washed, the bed sheets were dirty and the bath tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months and had hairs from people from before us. Never I mean never stay in this place

Convenient to the Prairie Spirit Trail. Had a clean pool.

The actual motel was not kept up at all as the picture showed. We enjoyed the restaurant next door.

We spent less on this hotel by booking through Orbitz, but it was in no way a $75 hotel. The property is very old and run down. The outside needs repairs and the grass around the entire establishment was knee high and needed mowed. Once in the room I automatically checked for bugs. That is the only thing I didn't find. The floors were fithly. The bathroom had hair everywhere. The bathtub had stiky caulking all around it. There were sunflower seeds from previous cutomers on the floor. The a/c unit leaked on the floor. The breakfast was a joke. The room it was in was 90 degrees with a fan propped in the corner. The coffee was disgusting with an oily film. The options for food were all carb loaded with no fresh fruit offered. There was a huge sign on the front desk stating no refunds so we didn't attempt to fight with them. We stayed the night there so we could attend my father in laws funeral the next morning. We will never stay, nor reccommend, that property to anyone.

Terrible service. Bed bugs and signs of mice. Lights flickering with no storm in area.

The bar that was advertised is closed down - very unappealing when you arrive, very run down. Several signs at the front desk "no refunds after 10 minutes of checkin"

Zero water pressure. Room was clean and comfortable. Easy truck parking.

Room was not clean. I had to go buy a can of Lysol to even feel comfortable. My room was automatically booked as a smoking room through this website AND I HAVE ASTHMA! The “continental breakfast “ consisted of batter for waffles that looked and smelled horrible, VERY SMALL muffins, cereal, and juices literally still in the Great Value bottles from Wal-Mart. The pictures on the website MUST HAVE been from a good 15-20 years ago and the musty smell in the room was horrendous. Also hair in the bathtub.Will NEVER stay there again.

The room was nice. It was a quiet stay even with neighbors. There was more than enough hot water for showers which was wonderful.
