Proximity to local attractions. It is comfortable and clean.

No lighting over the bed and it's not suitable if you have a disability. Accessing the shower is difficult without a rail and the signal for WiFi was poor.

Everything was great

The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were clean and soft. Staff were friendly. Good, central location.

Carpets were filthy and stained, people smoking on the balcony, and the cigarette smoke came straight into our room through the bathroom window. Walls need a paint, no lamps next to the beds, sink had yellow gunk around the taps.

For what you pay it's a decent economical place to stay for 1 night. Bed was clean and comfortable. The room itself was quite big.

No globe in one of the above bed lights, had to call reception to get new batteries as ac remote batteries were dead, hot water to basin took a long time to heat up, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, shower hot/cold water was very temperamental with the slightest turn of the cold tap left and the hot water would be cold or to the right and it would be too hot. There was an electric blanket on the bed but didn't use it as concerned with safety. Lightswitches and powerpoints are old. If the dead remote batteries are anything to go by I wonder if there's a regular safety/ general check, test and tag?
