"No frills hotel but would stay again."

Friendly staff, room adequate. Breakfast was very good, liked the continental choice. Nice lounge and bar area. Great location. Attractive spa facilities and swimming pool.

Decor needed updating especially in corridors. Basic offering of tea and coffee, have been supplied with superior drinks tray at more humble hotels. Evening meals in Brasserie were not very appealing or tasty. Cocktails were nice but quite expensive. QR code for hotel information did not link through and so couldn't view menus etc. and there was no printed information. Lounge, although a very comfortable environment, was rather cold.

"Lovely, grand Victorian hotel that with a bit of renovation and better cleaning ( in the spa) could be absolutely fabulo"

Spacious and comfortable public areas. Good quality and reasonably priced evening meal. Shower in bathroom was lovely.

Room had damp on one wall with wallpaper peeling off in one area which was a shame, as I noticed redecoration taking place in some areas.
