Best Western Clifton Park

Rooms, hallways and breakfast area were very clean. Hotel was quiet . Although we didn’t use the swimming pool/pool area they appeared to be very clean also.

Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Hotel could use a bit of spiffing up.

Was bad from start to finish. Paid for a jetted tub. Once we got checked in and in the room staff came to the door and told us. that jetted tub was not working and that we would need to switch rooms. I was told that I would be compensated by hotels.com and that Best Western would be sending me vouchers in my email for the inconvenience both of which I have yet to see. I was told of the refund and the vouchers because the new room I was put in did not have a jetted tub, was smaller, and no hot water. I was so tired from traveling and annoyed that the one thing I specifically paid for was not usable and I was not told that upon

Upon check in our second floor king room was dirty. Carpet, bathroom floor full of small debris, rubber bands,food crumbs. Room surfaces had a layer of dust.The carpet in the hallways are dirty,worn and threadbare in some areas, as are the stairs from the lobby since they don't have an elevator. Told housekeeping had already left. Inaccurate.Front desk attempted to arrange a vacuuming only.Manager on duty changed us to a different room with a queen bed on the first floor. It was better but worn. Refund for difference in price has to come from Expedia contacting the manager and he has not been available. The gentleman checking in near our room was refusing his room and leaving due to it being filthy. We chose this hotel to be close to family and other area hotels were sold out. Have stayed at Best Westerns in other states and never had one this substandard. Never stay here again.

Clean comfortable room.

Friendly check in but not too friendly check out. Breakfast room was not up to par. Bananas were way over ripe. Yogurt machine broken down and coffee machine down as well. For the price I expect things to work. Told front desk and he said he would pass it on. No apologies or anything.

My wife , 2 kids and I booked a room at this horrid hotel early September 2025. We were exhausted so we quickly checked the beds for bugs and checked if the room was clean and went to bed. The next morning we wake up to the bedbugs crawling up and down the bedsheets and pillows. We immediately jumped out of bed and checked ourselves for bites both of my children had bites down their legs. I took pictures and went straight to the front desk and demanded to speak to the general manager. The manager not only refused to come out , he told the receptionist to take out info and he would call us back at another time (we all know this never happened). I filed a complaint with best western and the booking agency I used to book this hotel and will be filing a complaint with the local health department. Shame on this location and shame on the general manager for being such a lazy irresponsible manager. You should be FIRED !!!

We were given a room that was already occupied. We fortunately didnt walk in on someone getting dressed or worse. All lights were on including the bathroom with that door wide opened. TV was blasting. Garbage on the dressers. The desk attendant didnt initially believe me, but wouldnt visit the room to see for herself. She gave me another room upstairs - no elevator in the hotel , - and didnt offer an apology. I was lugging heavy things to the room, and at 70 years old, it was cumbersome.

My hairdryer was not working but they let me use a room adjacent to me. Also no elevator so I had to drag my suitcase up the stairs☹️

The bathroom could have been better. We found a sock in the corner of the room The night desk staff was awesome. The morning staff was great, but you could tell he had to hustle because they were understaffed at breakfast
