Royal Kahana Maui by OUTRIGGER

View from balcony lanai is great (see lots of whales and beautiful view). Pool area is nice (shade and sun) and has an ocean view.

This unit and the entire facility are in need of refurbishment. The dryer did not work (it was difficult to start and smelled burnt, and clothes would be alarmingly hot but not the least bit dry). The dishwasher did not work properly (pod did not dissolve at all in the pod compartment, may have partially worked if placed in the bottom of the dishwasher). The TV in the living room was not a smart TV so we could not stream movies/series unless the 3 of us sat on the bed in the bedroom where there was a smart TV. There were Hawaiian roaches discovered on several occasions. The carpet needed cleaning or replacing. Shoreline has serious issues that need to be addressed (ocean is encroaching on building). We have stayed at this facility on previous occasions but are not likely to return until refurbishments are made. Issues were reported to staff at front desk and maintenance staff looked at the items of concern. However, we stayed for 26 nights/27 days and nothing was fixed.

Enjoyed the location as we could walk to the coffee shop, restaurant and beaches! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Unit was super clean and comfy! Took some great whale photos from our room balcony!

A tad noisy during the day due to landscaping! Blowers and mowers! lol.. no biggie, has to be done! 🤙🏽

Everything was copacetic

Our whole experience was awesome. The room was immaculate and well stocked. The kitchen and in room washer drier were a plus. The view was spectacular. I especially enjoyed the pool. The picture is misleading. There are no construction vehicles anywhere now. There is an on-site food truck that serves delicious meals until 7 . There are two restaurants within walking and a plethora of things to do in nearby Kaanapali. Most importantly, the staff was welcoming and helpful.

If we were any closer to the ocean we would have had wet feet! Incredible views. The property had plenty of crockery, cutlery and cookware. Everything we could have needed was available.
