Akra Fethiye The Residence Tui Blue Sensatori - Ultra All Inclusive - Adults Only

Previously stayed at the Akra Sorgun last year so we compared the two hotels. Our toddler loved the ice cream shop, TUI Bots disco every night was a must. We loved the choice of pools. Splash baby pool that had shade water up to my calf, the activity pool which was heated & the large family pool. Both big pools had sloped entrance so no stress on the stairs. They had 3 big water slides, didn't seem to have height restrictions as my 2yr old went down on my lap. Large shaded playpark with mini trampolines, swings etc. Then a smaller brand new quieter play park behind the kids club that was always open. Didn't have to stress about sunbeds at all!! There was loads of choice, would go to breakfast and come down to the beds around 9.30 and never had an issue being poolside. There are shops opposite the hotel. The supermarket you can get kids floats, beach toys, crocs, kids swimwear etc There's a pharmacy that has suncreams, baby suncreams, lots of the Mustela range, swim nappies, nappies, wipes etc Then a few of your fake designer shops for bags, clothes etc. You can rent lots of baby items from prams, baby baths, tolietries etc just email the hotel. You can still organise it on arrival at reception aswell. The hotel was extremely clean throughout, staff were friendly and helpful. There are 2 coffee shops they open at 10am i just wish they'd open earlier in the morning. The food was great, children's options in the buffets, bottled beers, cocktails etc I would say this was more scenic as you have the mountains in the background than the Sorgun but I think the Sorgun was slightly more modern but not by alot. Would highly recommend getting a private transfer. We did and it was 45 mins to resort. I would recommend to bring bug spray for the evenings. The shops were in Lira and euros so you could always use either. Our room was a family area 1 bedroom side seaview balcony. Lots of space. 2 beds as you walk in and then another main bedroom with sliding door. The buildings are only 3 or 4 floors not massively high-rise. Very clean, fridge had soft drinks, beer, milk, juice and water stocked everyday. Overall would highly recommend if you want a luxury family hotel.

Our 5th trip back to Akra and have to say that once again the food, staff and service were excellent, great venue for young families with quiet areas for adults only. Highly recommend the hair salon near the spa, the hair stylist is amazing , so much so 5 of our party had their hair cut there. We did have some difficulties booking restaurants at the begining of the trip as the hotel was busy due to Turkish festival and will bear that in mind when booking trip next time. The entertainment if you are looking for more than family based or lobby music could be livelier - however we did manage to get the bar doing the conga and Jonathan is a great entertainer and musician. Great memories.

Short but sweet review. Having such a fabulous time here. Food, service and facilities all top notch. So much so that we’re already trying to book For next year. 9 adults and 2 children, one with autism - who even loves the kids club. Perfect. Thanks to all the staff who can’t do enough for us.

We stayed here as a family of four and as a wider group of 11, the hotel is really nice and we were very impressed. Check in was quick and we were offered a glass of prosecco and the kids offered a glass of juice which was a nice touch. We had a 1 Bedroom Family room in the family area of the hotel. The room was lovely, you open up into one bedroom area with two single beds, a TV and air conditioning, then you have the bathroom area which is a good size with wardrobes opposite and finally another bedroom with a double bed, TV, air conditioning and a fridge stocked with soft drinks, water and a couple of beers. The fridge gets refilled daily. The room was a good size for the four of us and comfortable and clean. It is cleaned daily unless you put the do not disturb button on. The TV has a couple of English channels and a Disney channel for the kids. I did manage to find a few sports channels showing football when the evening kick offs were on. They are also smart TV's so you can log into Netflix if you want to. The pools are great, we didn't arrive until 1pm on our first day, so by the time we got to the room and changed it was around 2pm and we had no problem getting beds, this was the same everyday, no need to rush down at sunlight to get beds which was great. The area around the pools was always nice and clean and the bar staff do come around offering to get you a drink however they do get quite busy sometimes so you need to bear with them at times, also the queue was never longer than a minute or two if you went to the bar yourself. All the drinks are branded and they will make cocktails etc if you ask them. The hotel is very big and you can take a walk around for a good 30 minutes if you include the beach too. The food was very good with plenty of options available. We generally used to main restaurant for breakfast and evening meal most days, there is always plenty of options available and in the evenings they do themed nights. There is always things like Pizza and pasta etc, nobody in the group struggled finding something to eat at any time. During the day we would generally either use the snack shack near the beach where they were doing jacket potatoes, kebabs and rolls, Basilico, the Italian restaurant where you order from a menu which was a nice change occasionally or the Sunset grill, which again was menu ordered and was very nice. The food and drink was generally very good quality and everyone liked it. We also used Thea's coffee shop and the ice cream parlor several times and the quality was always very good. The entertainment team worked really hard and the shows were good, the kids really enjoyed the Tui bots and the kids disco and the evening shows were also done well and good to watch in particular the show they done down the beach one evening was amazing. During the day there were often activities going on but we were never hassled to get involved if we didn't want to. The staff are a real credit to the hotel, most of them couldn't do enough for you and were always very pleasant. There were a few though who we felt really went the extra mile, Hakan making the cocktails at the theatre in the evenings was always pleasant and chatty, along with Serhat who was going around clearing drinks, taking orders and brining drinks in the theater in the evening, again very polite and a nice guy. In the restaurants, Serkan was great and always made a big fuss of the children when we seen him and in the evening Elfan (sorry about the spelling) was amazing, always really happy, and attentive, she is a credit to the place and it was noticeable when she was on her day off. Finally the entertainment staff were all nice but Mia and Amy in particular really went out of their way with the kids which was great. There are a couple of shops on the resort but we didn't use them as there are shops across the road which are cheaper. My daughters got their hair braided in the salon and the staff in there were also lovely, but this does require payment and is not included in the hotel cost. The shops across the road are decent enough if you do want to get out for an hour, they will call you in etc but we didn't find them pushy at all. The Wifi is amazing throughout the hotel and we only had one drop out for around an hour on the first day other than that it was excellent and more than good enough for streaming etc. We had an issue one day where my daughter had left a small teddy on the bed, we came back to find the beds had been changed the teddy had got lost in the blankets and been taken, I asked with reception and later that evening there was a knock at the door and one of the staff had gone through the blankets and found it. My wife took some photos of our daughters playing in the pool and put them on social media tagging the hotel in the post, we came back that day to find the two photos framed with a note from the hotel saying they hoped we enjoyed our stay, it was a real nice touch. These are just two examples of how we feel the hotel really went the extra mile and things which really made this an excellent holiday in a fabulous hotel. We will certainly return in the future.

Just returned back from me and mums 4th visit to this amazing hotel and I think we probably had our best time yet! From the minute we arrived we were blown away, the new hotel layout is beautiful! We arrived to a beautiful display in our room of photos from our previous visit which was just amazing!! It was my mums 60th birthday whilst out here so we booked 3 cabanas, we love cabana days as they are so relaxing but also because of the amazing Sezer!! He is just the best, remembered us as soon as he saw us which was lovely, he goes above and beyond and works soooo hard!! He’s a real credit to hotel, I know he is very popular with all the guests who have cabana days Every morning and lunch we had the lovely Dilaur (forgive me I think I have the spelling wrong) in the adults section, she was hardworking, friendly and very professional. The food and drink selection was great for us, fresh fruit and salads and the all the yummy puddings! The cocktails were fab & the premium selection of drinks is amazing! The new beach bar is an amazing addition to this hotel it’s absolutely stunning and again the staff are incredible!! Especially a couple of the young ladies which I unfortunately didn’t catch their names! On my mums birthday we came back to the room to this overwhelming display of balloons for my mums 60th! This really was incredible, a special mention to outstanding guest relations team and Aslihan the GM for sorting this out! What an amazing surprise for Myself and my mum. Booked a spa package the “after sun” which was 90 minutes of bliss!! Highly recommend, book through the guys who come round the pool! Also another special mention to the amazing bar man Huseyin I know he is very popular with the guest and it’s easy to see why, he remembered us from previous years, makes the best shots and drinks, so friendly and professional! Another real credit to the team! Saying that the whole team of this hotel is just amazing! I know this feedback will get back to the staff as they are also being told the feedback of the guest which is very important! So that’s why we love coming and will hopefully continue to!! So thank you so much to you all! 💕💕

The staff are a real credit to this hotel and truly made our stay memorable. You can really see the AKRA training shining through. From the waiting team who remembered our preferences to the friendly housekeeping staff, everyone was warm and attentive. We arrived late at night and still received a lovely welcome, along with excellent support from the customer relations team throughout our stay. Service in our cabana was excellent, the steakhouse was superb, and both the spa treatment and the Turkish shave were standout highlights. The beachfront location is beautiful and retains a lovely local charm, and we enjoyed visiting the nearby Whynot shop. We were also lucky to be there during a Turkish festival the staff worked incredibly hard to create a fantastic day. The entertainment team were brilliant, and the children loved the TUI bots and the quiz. The life guarding team were very professional. The hotel is clearly in the middle of an upgrade, and this showed in some areas. Our compact family room had a difficult shower‑over‑bath setup with no handrail, which wasn’t ideal for children. We had requested a walk‑in shower, but this wasn’t possible. Not really a family set up. The kids club was full most mornings, as were many of the activities. If you’re visiting for this aspect, you need to be quick, very quick. Food in the main restaurant was inconsistent: often cold, lacking flavour, and with limited options for children (mostly pizza and pasta). Salt was used in abundance, even in the popcorn and there was no sushi available. There was plenty of ice cream but no lollies, which wasn’t ideal for younger children. The patisserie was good, but the desserts were large, repetitive, and lacked savoury options. Despite the hotel not being full, sunbeds were reserved early. Guests were also allowed to drink beer bottles in the pool, which felt out of place for a hotel of this standard. There were many positives, especially the staff, but the resort didn’t quite deliver the premium Sensatori feel we’ve enjoyed elsewhere. With new hotels now available nearby, we’d likely consider alternative options next time.

Excellent hotel ,everything you would expect from a sensatori , all bar and restaurant staff very helpful and polite, lobby bar a but hectic at times but the staff are busy trying to give you the best service, hotel grounds and pool areas are excellent, drinks choices are good and the food choices are the best we have had at a all inclusive hotel
