Days Inn by Wyndham Natchitoches

We were visiting Natchitoches and needed a "smoking" room which means that our options were limited. After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure about staying here but it's location was good so we took a chance. This place is a good economical choice. It isn't fancy but it does have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, check in was easy. It has some sort of breakfast but we didn't check it out. Plus there are several places to get something to eat within walking distance. The only negatives that we experienced was that the "power" button on the TV remote did not work. All other functions of the remote worked fine. Also there was road construction going on but that wasn't the motel's fault and once you got used to maneuvering through it, it wasn't a problem.

The room seemed clean, but the room and hotel is in desperate need of repair. There are cracks in all the walls and there is a definite step down from the room to the bathroom.

I liked the area , it was close to where I was going and the staff was very nice

I was on the second floor and the walkway had holes covered by carpet, the floor was slanted so when you came out of the room you went right to the railing . There was a bag of trash in the room when we got in the room also.

The property is run down. Our first room had no AC. They moved us to another room, tv did not work. The only good thing was Mike at the front desk. He was very helpful. Another hotel in the area should hire him quickly!!!

The receptionist showed hospitality snd i felt very welcomed.

We had NO TOWELS, NO SOAP, NO REMOTE FOR TV, TV DID NO WORK, MISSING LIGHT BULBS, THE BATHTUB WAS NOT WORKING, EMPTY COFFEE AND I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT CALL IT BREAKFAST, FLOORS WERE DIRTY AND BLOOD SMEAR IN BATHROOM FLOOR! WE PAID $320 FOR 2 NIGHTS! WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL EVER! I WOULD NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN AND VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH EXPEDIA FOR RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL!

soiled bath linen, towel rack and lamp bases corroded and extremely rusted, front door sticks, toilet water ran 24/7 wouldn't shut off, place is old outdated and dirty wasn't offered any discounts AAA, military, ECT .been traveling 3 weeks dozens of hotels, this was the highest price we paid and absolutely the worse room

THERE WAS ONLY ONE TOWEL, HAIR IN THE BATHROOM, AND NO TV REMOTE
