"Very disappointing stay, In speaking w/friends & family in Natchitoches, never again!!!"

There was NO breakfast offered...They had "Community Coffee" at the front desk, it was good, hope it was really the real product...!!!

The whole experience basically...WE arrived at 10:00 pm, a little earlier than we had told them, which did not seem to be an issue. The desk clerk, Tammy, was very courteous & seemed to be very concerned as to whether we were satisfied with the room. I told her we were a bit unhappy & she told me that it was all they had...The parking lot was packed, so I believed her & we went inside...The wall A/C unit was running on "high cold", the walls were sweating & the counters, etc. were all wet & cold...WE were very tired from our trip so we tried to disregard this...Next, was the smell in the room--a combo of an oil & dirt odor, somewhat nauseous...I went to the office & Tammy offered some de-odorizer, which did not help, then she gave us a small candle, which did not help much...she seemed to be aware of this issue & apologized 2-3 times...I went back to the room & my wife was very unhappy...At this time, as we begin to prepare for bed, we became aware of how dirty that the floor was...It appeared to have been mopped with a dirty mop...Our feet were black from walking on it & I used a large towel to wipe the floor, it was like a mixture of oil, dirt & something else...the towel was blackened. I then poured some water/shampoo on it to clean it up...The base of the toilet was dirty, hoped it was dirt...The bed did not have a top sheet, which my wife was not pleased with either--but the mattress was fairly firm...we did not inspect the underneath for fear of discovering something else unpleasant...It was obvious that this room was VERY TIRED...The walls/ceilings had signs of water damage previously & they did a very poor job of trying to cover it up...
