The Lodge at Jackson Hole

We stayed here while traveling to see the Grand Tetons and loved it. The hotel has such a cute mountain/cabin theme but it’s tasteful. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nice, the bed was super comfy, and the AC actually worked like it was supposed to (which is huge to us sleepers that love a constant fan). They also had the most wonderful smelling hand soap and lotion. I was so upset when only able to purchase the lotion and not the combo, but just another reason to come back. The breakfast was a step above an average hotel breakfast and only $5. The staff was nice as well and happy to provide recommendations. The pool and hot tub area was very nice and spacious. I also appreciated that we were able to get a massage on site. It is 1.2 miles out of town and parking is difficult so it’s not exactly walkable. They have a shuttle driver who works off tops but we weeent super impressed with him. We saw him on multiple occasions sitting on the side of the building drinking cokes and smoking cigarettes (I guess they keep him on stand by for guests?) overall, This was a lovely hotel and I would certainly come back and stay.

Location

If you avoid the experience that "The Lodge" delivers, you have made a great mistake!! Not sure which was more rewarding, the location or nearby shopping / dining. The staff and accommodations were nothing less than spectacular!!

Excellent lodge and highly recommend! Perfectly located, beautiful theme, clean, comfortable beds and towels, friendly and helpful staff. Can't say enough 'good' about this place. If I'm back in Jackson, I will be staying here again!

***BEWARE!!!***HOUSEKEEPING WILL RUMMAGE THROUGH YOUR BELONGINGS AND STEAL! Had a very expensive college ring wrap stolen. Should have locked it up but you get lost with this place because housekeeping doesn’t come everyday so it’s hard to remember when they will be in the room. What’s even worse is the hotel staff was down right rude and not helpful when we alerted them. The manager on duty said “If I had confidence in our staff I wouldn’t tell you to call the police but I’m telling you to call the police”. We did open a police report and then the hotel would not speak to us again after this. Never once apologized or asked if they could help. Once the police called the front desk, they told the cop they could not provide any information without a warrant. The hotel staff never even asked what the ring looked like to ask housekeeping if they had seen it. They told the GM it was an engagement ring because they didn’t even bother to ask a single question. When we decided to make sure it wasn’t just misplaced in the Room and searched high and low you start to see how dusty and unclean the rooms actually are. You are paying entirely too much at this place for such a lack of cleanliness and care from the staff. And you are not safe in those rooms. The ring was well hidden in the luggage so they definitely went through the suitcase to find it. Beware and use the safe!
