"A comfortable place to stay for a night or two and good value for the price we paid."

Lovely staff and the beer garden was great, the breakfast was also good. The Hotel is only a short walk to the centre of town and the train station.

It was clean, the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable

Facilities were minimal, not even a hair dryer in the room. The breakfast wasn’t particularly good, the scrambled eggs were reconstituted and the mushrooms were super salty. It was serve yourself tea from an urn that wasn’t very hot

"Very Good"

The vicinity to the town is very good, there is a lovely park right behind the hotel and river walks right next to it. The breakfast was very good. Bev who served us was attentive and got everything we asked for on the Saturday and Sunday mornings and the owner's son was equally very good and cooked a lovely breakfast on the Monday. The room was very clean too

Room 17 is very spacious, a lovely room but the water wasn't very hot in the tap and we couldn't use the shower at all as the water was cold. There was hot water from the bath taps though so I used that. There was a WiFi router actually in the room which just flashed orange constantly and never connected at all

"Excellent"

Friendly staff Comfortable room Decent breakfast

Slight strange smell in corridors upstairs Breakfast wouldn't allow for a real lie in- which didn't matter on this trip but on other trips would have preferred.

"Lovely first visit to Morpeth."

Great location, close to bus, railway stations. Lovely park close by with river walks. Very close to good shopping area, bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and dinner. Good sized bedroom, comfortable bed.

Better quality pillows. Shower wasn’t the best. Breakfast times were early for us. So a bit more flexibility would be good.
