Waterford Lodge Hotel

Stayed here for golf with a group of friends. Great location. The rooms a dated but comfortable and clean.

When I enter every hotel etc I am always pleased to see private car parking so I was very pleased you had one. I was very very pleased to see a Gideon Bible. I was celebrating Easter and I read it. Thankyou. I used the shower but it was angled at an awkward fixed angle. shame you do not have a step in shower. my wife has a 'dodgy' foot/ankle due to horrific boating accident. I did not know how to turn the heat on for eg my towel dryer. I sensed that someone had been flouting your clearly signed posted rule NO SMOKING as I thought I could smell residue of smoke Could you make the room more sound proof!?/ I could hear the room next door: coughing, talking, even using the loo This is not a criticism and you're not the first hotel that has all these things (I am just sharing this with love in my heart as I am sure you are committed to CPD ....Continued Professional Development) I had a Brilliant Brilliant stay especially learning about your Lawless Lassie Emily the amazing Suffragette!! I went for my morning walk to your AMAZING PARK . What a beautiful park I would happily come AND STAY WITH YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN Staff were great breakfast great.

I have already said above THE GOOD FAR OUTWEIGHS THE BAD LONG LIVE MORPETH>>.I have only been here twice in my life It is now a firm favourite and i will tell all my friends

Location and lovely big rooms

Been twice now and the first time the shower didn’t work This time the bath didn’t work So they definitely need to sort out showers and baths

Comfortable and welcoming, good value

The staff was very polite and helpful

The mattress felt like it was on a slope towards the head bord so had to sleep down the bottom

Good value for our small budget

Could do with updating

Well situated and added bonus of a free car park

Could do with a refurb in the hotel rooms but then I suppose the prices will go up. You can’t have it all I suppose.
