Good sized room with a big enough table for computer work, clean and tidy. Good food on offer and excellent breakfast.

Could be doing with a bit of tlc.

Location in town was great, close to train station. Did the job we wanted, cheap, no fuss. Cleaner than I expected. Great for 1 night for walkers.

Didn't try the shower. Noisy from traffic outside (not much sound proofing).

location..breakfast..

me and my partner arent on the slim side and the bed was tiny hardly slept a wink because we couldnt move.

Safe parking and central for the town.

Hot water. Or the lack of. Apparently, you have to run the bath hot tap for 5 minutes before the basin or shower water get hot . If the customers were told this when checking in, they wouldn't have the problems.

"NOT a place I’d recommend to stay. Which is a shame as the staff were very nice."

The staff were friendly and helpful

The room was cold, dirty and noisy (24hr road noise)there was NO hot water . ( I believe this is a very basic requirement) The WiFi only worked in the bar area. The floors in the room were uneven and sloping, not a good combination for elderly guests. It is probably the worst hotel I have EVER been in.
