La ubicación es bastante buena, el ghat está muy cerca andando. El restaurante no estaba mal.

Es un hotel dirigido a locales. No hay agua caliente casi nunca, te dicen que llames a recepción si no hay, y solo te dicen que esperes unos minutos. Resultado nos subimos que duchar con agua fría varias veces. Al hacer las habitaciones no reponen papel higiénico, tuvimos que llamar a recepción por ambas habitaciones, hasta en 2 ocasiones y no nos trajeron el papel (aun lo estamos esperando). La zona cercana al hotel está en obras y es un poco caótico entrar y salir del hotel, la entrada está bastante escondida.

冬のインドは昼間は寒くないが朝晩はよく冷える、部屋にエアコンがあったが冷房のみで暖房はなかった。

The room was very neat and clean, and the bathroom was also quite big and clean. The staff were really good and courteous. The location of this place is very convenient, within walking distance of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Dashaswamedh Ghat. Famous eateries are also nearby.

The breakfast spread and the quality was decent, given that there are plenty of great food options available in Varanasi, that too near the property that perhaps increased the expectations for us.

I prefer not to write negative reviews, but I do write honest ones. Our third stay at this hotel and, sadly, it's unlikey we'll be back. The staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming and the hotel has a nice, peaceful, feeling. The location is great for visiting most things on foot, but quiet at night as it's down a side street so off the busy main road. Food in the restaurant is also good. The problem is with the hotel processes and lack of communication and transparency. This is a nice hotel, but please beware of this when booking.

We booked 4 nights with breakfast and dinner included. One would assume "dinner" would consist of a full meal per person, and we fully expected to pay extra for any drinks. To our surprise, we were presented with a pretty hefty restaurant bill on check-out. We didn't over-indulge at all, with dinner consisting of a curry dish each, a portion of rice between us and one, or at most two, naan bread to share. It turned out that "dinner allowance" only included the deluxe thali or up to 500 rupees allowance per person, but the restaurant manager had "forgotten" to tell us this. This should have been communicated at check-in, or even just stated on the menu included with the room information. 500 rupees barely covers one curry dish. Definitely no rice or other accompanying side dishes, starters or desserts could be had within the (unknown) allowance. A bit of a rip-off really! Eventually, after some discussion we were refunded 2,000 rupees. We noticed the man checking out prior to us had much discussion about his bill too, and that when we checked in someone else was also querying their bill. Nothing like this happened on our previous visits, but there is obviously some sort of problem somewhere. Then to the check-out process! This took well over one hour, even without querying our bill. We know the room has to be inspected and a count of items in the mini bar carried out, etc, but there only seems to be one person responsible for checking the rooms so if there are multiple check-outs, you can be waiting a very long time. Definitely don't leave check-out until the last minute if you have a flight to catch! We left ample time to get to the airport, but after such a lengthy check-out found ourselves rushed and stressed by the time we got our flight. All in all, we were left quite disappointed with our visit, which is a real pity as we were so looking forward to returning.
