Our stay was exceptional! The staff were friendly and always helpful, Gabriela and her husband are the nicest people I have ever met, and the room was beyond comfortable. Everything was perfect!

Everything about this property was wonderful. The view from the yard is wonderful, looking right at the old city of San Gi. The host, Gabriella was so kind, welcoming and helpful. As a solo traveler she made me feel comfortable and right at home and went the extra mile by making me dinner reservations and wine tasting. They sell their own delicious wine and olive oil. Breakfast was delicious with home made treats.

Our stay at Antico Casolare was absolutely perfect. The gorgeous home is located just minutes walk from San Grimignano, arguably the most stunning medieval town in Tuscany. The views of the town from the property were beyond belief and were made even better when eating a buffet breakfast whilst looking out to the town. The breakfast was amazing, so many delicious foods to try. The icing on the cake was definitely the host, Gabriella. She is just delightful - very friendly, helpful and funny. She also makes great coffee! Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable. All in all I would say it was the best place we have stayed in since being in Italy and will definitely return.

Great location, best view on San Gimignano during breakfast! Nice peaceful garden! Great Italian breakfast with home made sweets. Very very friendly owner Gabriela! Room has everything you need, is very clean, good temperature, also has a mini fridge! Also private safe parking on property. Walking distance 7min to historical center! I would absolutely recommend! And come back. Grazie mille per l'ospitalità!

I like everything here - the view, the location, the room, the bed, Gabriella and her husband, and Kika! It’s so serene and tranquil here. The garden is so well managed. Gabriella is so kind and helpful and she gave a lot of good suggestions on spending the time here. It has made my best memories in Italy so far. Will definitely come back again.

That I can’t stay longer :(

We loved our stay here. It's a beautiful place with an amazing view of the city right from the garden. The design of the room was very nice and our host Gabriella was very helpful. Her wine was delicious as well as olive oil so we bought a few bottles. And the breakfast was very good with a variety of cheese and meat as well as sweet stuff. Some of them home made and they were mazing. :)

The incredible views and welcoming host make this place absolutely exceptional. We loved spending time in the beautiful garden and we were really made to feel at home. The location is perfect too - close to the town but you really feel like you are out in the countryside which is exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay.

Everything!! The view is just spectacular! You can sit on the terrace with a bottle of the property’s wine and never leave if you don’t want to. If you do want to leave, it’s just a short walk to San Gimignano and to a winery and also a short drive to many other destinations in Tuscany. There are also many busses available if you don’t have a car. The room and bathroom is spacious and clean. The hostess Gabriella is extremely welcoming and there for anything you may need as well as great company. Breakfast on the terrace is amazing! There are only 3 rooms and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests, becoming quite good friends after 3 days. I can’t recommend this place more for a relaxing stay in Tuscany!!!

As for agritourist place this is 5-star object. Spacious and clean rooms. Very nice garden. Very good breakfast. Astonishing view on San Gimignano. Very close to the grocery shop. Not far from the old town but in quiet place (for San Gimignano that is a huge benefit as this is very busy town – thousands of tourists are coming each day). The best of all is the host. She is the best person we have ever met in our vacation places, ever! Gentle, empathic, always smiling, always serving with no complains. I can only recommend.

On the not so positive side, I always write something just to make things realistic. This time I do not have much to say. Just that the road we have to take to get to the object is so crowded with tourists that it is hard to walk it. For my preferences, the object is too close to the road. But all this is hard to describe as negative, rather to make the description realistic, as I can only recommend this place.
