Essaouira Beach Hostel

Awesome property, Incredulous setting,location,facilities and all team members were exemplary. Positive can do attitude evident throughout & as a consequence have extended my stay as nothing can surpass my experience here touring Morroco. Special mention to David your host I am an expereienced hotelier and he has given me "wow factors" memories not expereienced in 4/5 star hotels over the years re customer service. Breakfast is substantial, themed dinner nights,cookery classes,excursions,quality en-suite dorms with shower ( grab the sole dorm on the terrace) sunset /sunrises to die for when you walk out your room Trust me, if you wish a quality experience, tranquillity, sun,are a foodie, lose yourself meandering through the Medina, the Port, beach daily till 5pm etc in 25°C here in Essaouira in January.....blows Marakesh out the water. Atm,cafes,restaurants, liqour store, pop ups, beach, all within max 2/3/4mins of front door. Tips. Hail a passing blue cab even if occupied they will take you anywhere in the city/town for 80p !... Wrap up after 17.30, head up to the roof top or terrace with your Shiraz/Chardonnay( be discreet) & sample heaven/paradise in contrast to the UK in the winter.

the place is wonderful. you can see the beach view, enjoy the surf classes, and mingle with new people 🤘🏽. the staff is very welcoming. I would recommend every young soul to stay. Essaouira is also so gorgeous,windy. there is a ton of fish out there to savor

This hostel is truly a gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The rooms are spotless, with super comfy beds, and the common areas are perfect for relaxing or meeting fellow travelers. The activities, like the local tours and communal dinners, create such a great vibe, making it easy to connect with people from all over the world. Every detail is well thought out, from the clean bathrooms to the little extras like free coffee and local tips. Highly recommend for an unforgettable stay!

The rooms are okay, it could be cleaner, especially the rooftop seemed very dirty. Some of the employees were rude, especially one who seemed like one of the bosses he has a very negative charisma around him and he would talk rude to other people in front of the guests. Also he tried to hit on my friend and didnt stop after she clearly didnt show any interest. So girls if you go there just be safe! The food is definitely not authentic and very highly overpriced. I wouldnt go there again, especially because of the atmosphere that some of the employees created. I saw these positive comments before i went, how could i believe they are true lol

made one of the most amazing memories there felt safe and met people from all around the world , the prices are actually very cheap , very accommodating the hosts are welcoming plus very easy and flexible check in and check out and they do serve couscous on fridays

This hostel has everything you need to enjoy it's beach side location & a warm, welcoming but chilled Atmosphere created by it's lovely team & tasty, plentiful breakfast. With boards to hire and instruments to play and an awesome terrace to gaze out at the sea from whilst doing a morning yoga session. This is the perfect place for travellers to Essaouira. I highly recommend !

Best place to visit in sauira ,we had a great time here with lovely staff and friendly,the hostel is clean and comfortable ,the roof terrace was amazing, the hostel has many activities like surf and kite surf ,I was happy because I'm staying her

I cme for a few days a week ago and I'm still here lovely place ,I really enjoyed my stay here and I meet same amazing people , wonderful staff and friendly and fantastic roof terrace to enjoy the sunset,

On a budget ? This place is great. Super clean and functional. The rooftop is fab and the food good and well priced. The staff are always smiling and realty happy to help. Location is great within 100m of the beachfront and easy access to quite a few restaurants. Off licence straight ahead 100m from front door and open till 8.00pm but not on Fri. All in all good 😁

I rocked up to this hostel after traveling through the hustle and bustle of the city's and Medina's for about ten days , the peace from the moment I entered the place, it's 200 metres from the beach,I was there at Christmas and it was perfect for swimming. the hostel is big and spacious,lots of places to chill or be social,the views from the terrace or rooftop are literally million dollar views ,the beds are big and clean and spacious with the curtain it's almost like a pod . There was a great vibe there for Christmas,there was celebrations but not overboard, Dave the owner is a sound man and has created a great place and is adding to esouira beach hostel constantly. The place is cleaned every day and the staff are really helpful,it's Ideal place to chill out, be prepared if you go there to not want to leave,we had a great sing song on Christmas Eve and day, looking forward to another one in the future.
