Super 8 by Wyndham Hattiesburg South

Great experience. Great staff. Great rooms. I would definitely go back, everyone was very helpful and nice. They had reasonable prices for rooms. Also, it’s in a great location for the kids because it’s right across from a trampoline park and it is a Buffalo Wild Wings beside it.

The room smelled wet and stale. The front desk and housekeepers were extremely rude. I agreed to late check out for $20 more and signed for it on my phone. The housekeeper came in my room when we were loading up to leave saying do you know what time it is ? Check out was 11. She put her foot in the door holding it open and i was in the bathroom not even fully dressed. I went to front check out and he was also extremely rude and racist. Said that did not just happen. Told him to pull up the video and watch. He told me to leave. Worst hotel service ever.

This could be an adequate hotel. It has basic security problems but the current situation is bad as of June when we were there. I have contacted Mr. Patel many times to see if he will refund m wyndham points after my partner and her kids left then in the face of what may have been a pimp and prostitution situation in the parking lot out of the view of the cameras and the lodging of a great number of alleged illegal immigrants in many of the main rooms on the first floor. I was told by the front desk they were working for a local contractor and were lodged there during the construction project. If they are still there, or others, it is a project for ICE to look into now. I will call them to report soon. I suspect, as is often the case, the Biden Administrations policy of paying for hotel rooms for the alleged illegals is operating. I question whether anyone is working and it may have been that prostitution was among the group. Drugs? We don't know. Partner and kids left the hotel and I informed the front desk after pointing out these problems. Patel has not refunded my Wyndham points and I am not happy at all. I've called him and when I think it may be him on the line he claims Mr. Patel is not in and last time I called he claimed he talks to him once or twice a month. I was told, while there, that Patel lives there at the hotel and is often in. I have reported these suspicions to law enforcement and hope they check the matter. There was also a mysterious large panel truck from Knox County Tn. license plates which had been painted over what may have been a bread or baking company's logo in all white. There were no windows. It was strange. There were gaps in the fence surrounding the building. My partner noticed blood on a sofa in here room. It was not fresh, but it was quite notceable. These are serious matters and Mr. Patel is not answering these allegations. He will not speak to me. I will continue to follow up even though I'm not in the area. I am intent on finding out what went on and is probably contining.

Dirty, loud, unsafe area. Did not stay. Drove to another town and got my own rooms.

My family was unable to stay in this dirty hotel that had no parking, in a bad part of town next to a convenience store. I will be asking for a refund.

Great location

The room and amenities were fine for a short stay. I was not in the room other than to shower and sleep. Everything worked properly and the room was nice enough for the price. Very convenient location with a gas station beside it for any extras you might need.
