A funcionária que foi nos buscar no aeroporto nos tratou de uma forma muito ruim. Não respondeu nossos cumprimentos e foi rude, na recepção uma outra funcionária também não nos recebeu com bom humor, pareciam insatisfeitas com a nossa presença. Na manhã seguinte o funcionário era cordial, mas essas duas mulheres que nos receberam não têm vocação para trabalhar recebendo os hóspedes.

Location was a little far from the stadium

Walls in room and halls were filthy. Online photos show pool and whirlpool, big reason why booked but didn’t have any. Two best westerns ten minutes apart with almost identical names, was dropped off at wrong one and staff at both locations very flippant saying happens all the time. Change the name then! Staff unhelpful, unfriendly, little eye contact, stammering and speaking with a lot of slang. Received multiple harassing phone calls regarding my sister’s service dog as she was assisting me to my room. Shuttle van door taped together with duct tape, absolutely unsafe and absurd. Walk into complimentary breakfast and the first thing you see is a foot tall vase with TIPS written on in huge writing. What service exactly needs to be tipped out for a very basic standard included breakfast? Especially when there are multiple signs saying do not take anything with you. Incredibly tacky and unprofessional to be demanding tips so loudly when there wasn’t even any staff in the room and it was a mess in there. When I called Best Western corporate line in frustration, the agent responded with “Gotcha”. A company that claims to offer affordable LUXURY should know that luxury service needs to be delivered with professional language. “Gotcha” meaning “got you” can mean “I understand”; but it’s more common meaning is “got you” in the context of a joke or a prank. This is an absolutely horrible way to respond to a guest who is red hot. I stay in many Best Westerns in Western Canada and have never had any issues. Incredibly disappointed with my stay and the lack of care surrounding said disappointments. If you can’t even keep the walls clean how can you have the audacity to ask for tips. Focus on the fundamentals, basic cleanliness and basic customer service.
