Beachfront Hotel

We had a great experience at this hotel. There was a jacuzzi in our room, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and it was very clean. The beach and pool area was also very nice and we appreciated the continental breakfast.

Great desk folks, very scenic. Had a great view of the lake from our balcony. Found a giant bug to the left of the sliding door when we arrived. Other than that, a great stay.

The hotel was clean, the staff was awesome, our room was by the breakfast area and around 3 am they started setting up so we could hear everything. I would stay again but on the lake side.

Lake view was amazing, beds were super comfy, room was clean, staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good!

The rooms were very clean minus our balcony that had spider webs on it and the chairs and tables needed to be wiped down. But otherwise it was very clean. The check-in process was smooth and the check-in staff member was very nice and provided necessary information we needed.

All in all it is an excellent hotel for weekend stay. Gorgeous view and not that noisy, considering the hotel was full.

We loved the views of the property and the beachfront walk out and amenities outside of the hotel itself. BUT the room was filthy and extremely out dated. There were cob webs and bugs, we had no toilet paper and our tv was not working! Also, we tried to take the kids to the pool and we couldn’t handle being in there for more than 5 minutes because all of our eyes were burning so incredibly bad. The vending machine was completely out of beverages. The continental breakfast was slim and had little to no options. The elevator took FOREVER! The light on our patio didn’t work and the patio door was broken. Our family lives in Houghton Lake and we come up every year and loved the idea of having a beachfront walk out and we could pull the pontoon up to the beach. The staff was super friendly and the maintenance guy was always walking around the yard and cleaning up the beach area! I really loved the location and beach but whoever is running that place needs to make sure their cleaning ladies are actually cleaning!

It was a beautiful beachfront view from our room, one bed was really firm and a lil hard, but the other one was a softer and more comfortable. They offer a nice light breakfast, they have fire pits on the back and have bbq grills as well.
