We liked the whole experience. It felt like a proper hotel with a good restaurant on site and served breakfast too. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was well equipped , modern and comfortable.

Minibar was expensive with charge for water.

We loved the beds, the shower, the room in total. It was an amazing place to relax after a hard days travel.

The space did not have an oven, which would have helped with dinner options.

Room was neat and comfortable. Bathroom was nice.

Requested a crib, request was approved but when we arrived there was no crib, also no extra towel for child that was on booking.

I absolutely can commend the staff one being the manager upon check out they listened to my concerns and were considerate.

check in at about 5:30th the gentleman was super argumentative. I booked a family room for 5 and only 4 beds had be prepared. Not the luxury experience I was expecting arriving late into Armidale. When I mentioned that it was unmade he told he I should have called to let the hotel know that 5 people were staying however this isn't something I've ever had to do either booking directly or through booking.com. It eventually got sorted but he would do it for us made us do it which again wasn't a huge deal but took away from the experience after a long day or driving from Brisbane and hiking Girraween national park. Upon pulling out the doona that was supplied in the drawers it was spoiled with green and pink paint. Disappointing overall

The room was nice and spacious, and had a lot of character - Tesla charger on site was great! we were on very low battery driving 3 hours straight with no chargers, having the overnight charger was so nice so that we did not have to travel again to charge the car. The staff was lovely and accommodating and offered us breakfast packed the night before, as the kitchen was closed the next morning.

We booked with breakfast and we were not informed that the kitchen closes for christmas, This should have been communicated as we paid extra for a good breakfast, the staff was lovely to give us some yoghurt and cereal the evening before, but that is not fair for the expectation set and the price paid.

Facilities were not up to the standard

The room size and layout was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped and the refrigerator was big enough and had a good freezer compartment. The furniture was high quality and there was ample storage space. I liked the fact that there was an in-house restaurant, although I didn't take advantage of it.

The carpet in the living area was well overdue for replacement or a thorough clean to remove stains.
