"too cold to swim"

Chose the hotel because of the swimming pool but unfortunately it was a bit too cold to swim so had no chance to experience. Pretty nice breakfast.

Thank you, Best Western for providing a safe, clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay as an escape from Hurricane Milton. A special appreciation for allowing our two dogs. There was plenty of green space nearby. All aspects of this stay met our expectations!

"Filthy disappointment"

Welcome to Best Western Mayport where you enter the front lobby to a almost friendly staff member with a full frontal attack of mold and mildew. Follow the filthy stained hallway carport to a room that has surface dirt like items have been removed but not wiped down. Stay a few hours, walk out, return to find the cockroach friends racing to their next hiding spots while they think you are away. Return to the semi-friendly staff to advise of your new friends and they will not apologize, but ask for photographic evidence. Please take a photo don't try to assault their friends. Okay, I'll stop there, please don't go unless you want to pay cash by the hour. Not good, no bueno, avoid, evitar!

"Not very happy….."

Our stay at the hotel was a situation where we had to flee from hurricane Milton with our cat. I’m very grateful for the hotel to accommodate pets and the staff was friendly. However; I found one of the bed to be very uncomfortable. And the lighting in the bathroom had a very unusual blue color, making for getting ready more than undesirable. And the drywall has cracks in it. Check out was easy and efficient. I will think twice before booking again.

"I would not say here again especially paying that much"

Staff was kind and knew everything to get me in and out quickly

Bedsheets had stains and the room smelled moldy. Breakfast was small and not a lot of variety
