Mount Richmond Hotel

I love this room

Its more noisy the people walking around..And the bed maybe its a two single beds that combine them to get double bed and when we slept its like onee bed separate

location was convenient to family and places of interest

Room was a bit run down, and a fair bit of noise from outside. Not enough car parks

Nice place and a handy location.

Clean and tidy

The front desk staff was very welcoming. Parking was easy and available which is a rarity in Auckland. When there was an issue, the staff handled it right away, no wait time.

In the first room I was in, the sink was broken and loose on the vanity. The heat pump was broken; it wouldn't work, and the front desk staff could not get it to work. The new room I was in had a working heat pump, but it did not seem to put out anything beyond moving the air, and the room was incredibly stifling. The bed was supposed to be a king-size bed, but in fact it was two twin beds pushed together with a single sheet. This created an INCREDIBLY uncomfortable sleeping arrangement if you moved to the middle, and there were no box springs, so the mattress also sagged. I got an awful night's sleep. There were smokers all around the front because there is a gambling room there which made it really gross as well.

It was quiet for where I was

I'm not a fan of being in Auckland but it is what it is
