Small for a family room

Small sofas bed wasnt sturdy.

Staff were lovely. Comfy bed.

Breakfast was pretty average. Lighting in room was awful! Way too dark

Everything you could normally want is there for you. Scrupulously clean and well presented. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice little bar downstairs for that last minute late night drink. Also good that the hotel is located in a nice quiet part of central Birmingham and not one of the roudier areas where many of the other hotels are located. Best of all, it was all for a really reasonable price.

Lack of instructions on how to operate the TV, how to cast to the TV and generally explaining the facilities available and who to contact and for what.

Reception staff, we're excellent. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Cleaners were good and friendly

The breakfast had obviously been kept warm for some while. The bacon was hard , sausages average, hash browns tough. A shame as having stayed here before it was much better then.

Proximity to the train station & city centre

No opening windows in the bedroom made the room feel like an airless cell. The entire decor felt slightly shabby & tired.

Location was good, breakfast was OK, but not really a "full English". Staff were pleasant and helpful.

It was noisy. Doors slamming, pipes banging. Outside, taxis blaring horns in tgd early hours.

Staff were excellent and very helpful - Kindly sorted me with another room with twin beds.

The hotel is in a good location, the standard of the hotel is very clean. Rooms and bed comfortable with tea coffee making facilities, no water supplied. The shower had plenty of hot water with shower gel etc. Breakfast was good, not a lot of variety but something for everyone. Only thing that spoiled it was the reception. I didn’t find the staff very welcoming at all, the guy that checked us in barely spoke he wandered about behind the reception desk looked like he just couldn’t be bothered. I was only there one night but would stay again.
