The location

The shower over a very small bath. Difficult to get in and out of. The bedside light was falling apart. Exposed wires.

The Mantra was ideally located for me. It is also at the quieter end of town which may be a positive for some. The rooms are well sized.

I stayed 3 nights, the bed in my first room was so bad and uncomfortable that I could not sleep in it another night. I was then moved to another room by the very nice receptionist and the bed was much more comfortable. My main issue is that neither room was very clean. The housekeeping staff must need more time to maintain the rooms to a standard I would be comfortable with. I wont stay again on the basis of the lack of cleanliness.

Location good

Very tired and worn property. Bathroom had worn cabinets around & below sink. Furniture in living area also tired & need of an refresh.

Was close proximity to city centre

We asked to have one of double beds separated and were told there was no housekeeping on and we would have to remake beds ourselves with sheets they provided. Fridge was hot to touch, ice box was so frozen that it would not close, thus running very hot, potentially a fire hazard if overheating had occurred. When we told front desk they wrote on a sticky note and said they would have it looked at, this did not happen. We eventually managed to break off some ice to close the door. By morning the fridge had cooled down and was running normally again! At no stage were we offered a change of room or any real assistance from the front desk! We were very disappointed and won’t be returning or recommending!

The room is very spacious, good layout and comfortable, as advertised.

First room faced the street and was too noisy. Second room was near the lifts and the lift arrival bell noticeable in the room (301). Third room given to me finally was good.
