Good property, staff and management. Quality of food was really good, I didn’t expect such good food in the middle of the desert. We hired two bubble tents and the curtains were ripped, doors are very hard to lock and open. Overall good place to stay.

We arrived twenty minutes before check in to the random parking lot they asked us to park at, which was just a sand lot. We has messaged the whatsapp number as directed when we were 15 mins away. We parked beside a well official bus with "Aladdin Camp" written on the side. We called the number provided and told them we were ready to be picked up. We did not get a response for 30+ minutes until I told them we had a baby waiting. They finally arrived in a 20 year old truck to take us to camp leaving behind the well official bus and the car seat for the baby that wouldn't fit. The stay was average. Upon check-in we were escorted to a bubble tent in the back row of all the bubble tents even though we booked three nights. We saw many people given front row bubble tents who were only staying one night stays. This matters because if the tents leave their porch lights on in front of you its harder to see the sky. It rained both nights we were there and the bubble tents leaked ruining a few toys we have brought for the baby. We booked 2 tours with the camp. The first one was ok. On the second tour a three hour Jeep tour, they took us off the park reserve. I felt something was off when no one was at the locations and tea houses he took us to. One of the stops he claimed was Mushroom rock. Upon ending the trip I easily compared our photos and it did not match the real attraction. Essentially we were scammed. We asked for transportation to our car at 8am, and had to wait until 9:30.

Best choice!!! I had researched LOADS of camps and was anxious to see if I had made the best choice, both in terms of bubbles and location and this property was AMAZING! I saw many others on the road in and on my jeep tour and did not find any better.. The location of the camp is in the desert… so many others that are well promoted (ex Luxotel) are actually off the Highway 😳. This camp has a beautiful layout, great amenities and is run with heart. The service provided by the owners at the camp is top notch There was some lag in email communication, by one day, but don’t let that dissuade you. It’s worth it to be patient. I stayed in a bubble dome with a Mountain View and it was very comfortable with all the comforts of heat, AC, private bathroom. They provide quick service from the visitor center to the camp. The 6 hour jeep tour was wonderful.. I LOVED my stay here. I learned Camp Aladdin was formed by 5 friends just before the pandemic and they are gracious and accommodating and happy to finally be able to realize their dream in the desert and help you realize yours.

"Fun and unique camp easy to drive to. "

Incredible location, food was surprisingly tasty and plentiful, geo done tents were very comfortable and restful. We went during a rainstorm and the parking lot was totally flooded and muddy. Thankfully the shuttle driver helped us remove our rental van safely. The road to the parking area is paved all the way from the highway. Be sure to bring drinking water and any duty free beverages you want since the camp charges 1 or 2 dinar for cups of tea and water and they only have 0.0 beer. Camp organizer is friendly and helpful and their “Jeep tours” are basic and about 60 dinar per vehicle which fits 6 persons for 3 hours. They will try and push the 4 or full day tour even if you arrive at 1pm and sunset is at 4pm. Don’t do it…keep it simple and stick to the 3 hour these are really basic trucks and 4 hours will be annoying for anybody. Food was delicious and all you can eat and all dietary restrictions are good to go here. Petra is 2 hours from here and the shuttles back to the parking lot begin at 8am. This is important since we wanted to get an early start to Petra but had to wait with everyone else and by the time you arrive to Petra it’s slammed with tour busses and people. No WiFi or ATM or cell service at the camp so know that going in. Pay the extra for the dome tents it’s worth it.

It was the best experience. Except that we had torrential downpours at night and our suitcase, clothes and laptop bag got wet with water seeping down from the walls of our tent. the floor and mat on the floor was soaking wet. i hear that rain does not happen like it did that night we were there. I guess it was a fluke rain night. The food and people were the best! I would totally go there again minus the rain.

Wadi Rum is an amazing destination and it’s worth the visit. The camp is okay. The food was not to our liking at all. I would highly recommend to do lunch before arriving as they serve leftovers from the previous evening dinner and it’s pretty bad. Dinner and breakfast were edible. We had a panoramic Geodisk tent and it was okay. They only offered two bath towels and no hand towels or bath floor mat. The bathroom does not have any place to put toiletries or place to even put your soap in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the accommodations were fairly clean. The outdoor seating area is not very clean and very challenging to eat outside during the day with a million flies. They do go away for dinner and breakfast since it gets cold. All in all, we survived the one night at the camp and got to enjoy a jeep tour with sunset in the desert, so it was worth it.
