Beautiful area, very walkable!

Excellent location for the sights of Siena. The property is situated very close to the Piazza del Campo and the Duomo. Ada was extremely helpful. She guided us to the property, carried a suitcase up the stairs and arranged a taxi for us on our day of leaving. It was nice to have water bottles in the room and access to the coffee machine in the communal area. Siena is a wonderful city to visit.

This was a weekend one night trip to visit Siena, using a touristic train program from Roma to Siena on Saturday and return on Sunday. The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The location to visit Siena is excellent, it's at the heart of the old town. The decor is wonderful, it's a renovated apartment in an old building, with a few rooms. Very comfortable, with good acoustic isolation.

Coming from the train station, it's a bit far. But, if you don't carry heavy stuff it's a nice 30 minute walk from the station. If you carry heavy stuff it's better to get a cab, but you'll have to wait for its availability and it doesn't leave you at the door, as expected in this location at a town like Siena.

The staff we absolutely lovely and so helpful. A warm personal welcome and no key box or codes. We were meant to be travelling during the national strike and the staff at the hotel could not have been helpful, knowledgeable or responsive regarding transportation. They offered to keep a room for us should we be unavailable to travel which reduced the stress of our situation greatly. So much of life now is transactional. Businesses just want the money and to turn over guests quickly. This place is the antithesis of this offering a real human touch and time to spare for conversation with guests. Location is fantastic if you want to be right in the historic centre of town and the room and bathroom were beautiful too.

No elevator on we were on 2nd floor but really the third floor, small shower hard to get in and out of and nowhere to put luggage other then floor needed table or luggage racks also, needed more hooks to hang towels other then that it was alright.
