Our accomodation smelled, my wife wouldโve appreciated if the sliding doors were left open to have some fresh air.
NZThis was an awesome place to stay. The pool facilities are just incredible. Two pools and a pool bar, both pools have very deep bits and shallow areas. Location is very good, directly opposite the beach. Everything in Palm Cove is pretty much on the Main Street where this property is located. The room had a big balcony with an outdoor spa bath. There was bath salts and soaps provided. Lady at the reception where we collected the keys was super friendly and informative. After-hours drop off easy.
Unfortunately the room was quite dirty. The floor was the worst, needed a vacuum and definitely a mop. The rest of the room was just a bit grubby all round. There is no house keeping during the stay.
AUPositives- great staff, pools are lovely. Lovely location Cons- the room we stayed in was looking tired at best. Mould smell in kitchen cabinets, peeling paint, water damaged particle board in kitchen and laundry, rusty clothes baskets in wardrobe along with a rusty safe with no key and looked 20 years old. I wouldnโt recommend staying with peppers until the resort is renovated
