The Century House Latham - North Albany, an Ascend Collection Hotel

I feel this hotel has more of an “old fashioned” feel which is what we prefer. It is very clean with nice size rooms, ours was a king size bed, including a sofa and a great shower. The hotel was also very quiet, which is always nice! The breakfast area is cozy… and the lobby is a sitting area with a working fireplace. Staff is super friendly. It was a great stay!

The breakfast at the hotel,nice selection for caters to almost everyone. The breakfast hostess Linda was just fabulous. I would stay there again.

The Shaker High School 50th reunion committee couldn’t have selected a better hotel for our heartwarming reunion weekend. The hotel itself was charming, but the staff made it even better. In particular, I’d like to acknowledge Ana at the front desk, who was a welcoming and knowledgeable employee. Plus Linda in the dining room, who treated all of us like family every morning. And a special thank you to Omar, who fixed my hotel reservation rate when no one else seemed to be able to do so. The next time I need to stay in the Laham area, I’ll absolutely choose the Century House.

Property was nice. Serene.

Room wasn’t ready upon check in. The room was incredibly dusty. There was dust and white particles all over the floor, dressers, coffee maker, shelves, night stands. Dust was just everywhere. I had to wipe down the surfaces.

This is a truly beautiful place! The friendly staff, tasteful appointments make this an exceptional place to stay.

Everything!!😊😊💯🔥 Breakfast is like a mini buffet I was amazed and will be bk . I hope they add more varieties cause man !!!! 😍 Room was just stunning.

Curtain rods is my only issue 😔. The heaters blow the curtains wide open. Recommend to upgrade to central air though the ceiling to avoid this issue in the future. If possible upgrade to the pull slide down curtains with the chain attached on the side wall panels. Was going to rank 10 but due to this issue it's a 9 rank.
