Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort

The room was beyond tired. The shower drain plug was on the ledge the floor was not clean. This room needs a complete redo. Big nicks in the walls around the table. TVs and furniture pretty bad

The first unit we were given was in Marsh Hawk and it was not great. It smelled musty and was looking a very shabby. We went to the desk and had them reassign us a new unit in Heron Marsh unit #91 and it was great. The unit was clean and it smelled good. The unit was well stocked with kitchen items. We had a great time!

The beach and pools

Room had too many decorative items which made it feel even smaller. 2 adults and 2 kids was hard to accommodate with all their stuff. Will stay in condo next time

Stayed in Bridgewater. The view was beautiful and the outdoor pool and hot tub were pleasant. Unfortunately the indoor hot tub was lukewarm.

Great stay

The property was super clean. We got a pool, lazy river, and a Jacuzzi and a great view of the ocean.

Our room was filthy and had cockroaches. The floors left the bottoms of our feet nearly black after just a few minutes, every surface in the kitchen was sticky, there were dirty dished in the cabinets, the individual coffee packets were open, the toilet seat was not attached on one side (how do you not know this if you cleaned it), the shower curtain was moldy, etc. It was so bad, I had to buy cleaning supplies and spend time doing it myself. I was told I would receive a call or email from management but did not. The location is great and the grounds were beautiful, but a clean place to say is a basic necessity so neither of those things matter if you have missed the mark so horribly. We also had no hot water for 24 hours, one hand towel for two bathrooms and no resort information in the room (policies, hours, etc). The kitchen light only worked 50% of the time. One bathroom fan didn't work and the other sounded like a helicopter landing. The dryer vented directly into the bathroom and turned the bathroom/bedroom into a sauna. The only way to access the beach before 8:15 am was to walk through the sprinklers watering the sidewalks. By themselves, not one of these things is terrible - not even the hot water. However, all of these things together really made the stay unpleasant. We would have loved to return but, based on recent reviews, things seem to be getting worse, not better.

The reservation line does not know if the rooms are booked or not so they did not book our room correctly…… our keys expired and we had to make two trips to the lounge for new keys and new parking pass!

It was great to have a place for all the family to be together it was in a great location children love the pool and I also love that there was one right beside where we were staying the alligators were a little scary but the children love them

To start off our booking was not confirmed and didn't get the place that we originally booked so that all the families could be together instead we had to be separated and was told this happens when you do a third party booking sometimes a little aggravating but we were accommodated with two homes however they were not close to each other they were a street apart so all of the family was not together also I was unable to do my work because the internet was horrible although the house was nice it could use a little more attention there are a lot of steps to go into our home and some of the steps were broken the steps and the railing to go to the sunroof on top of the house we're not in good repair and one of the steps cracked in half as we journey to the top so no rooftop tanning I would also remind housekeeping staff to clean the railings going up the steps food and sticky stuff all over them however the house was still nice
