Treetops Resort

We enjoyed our stay for two nights. Staff was curtious and helpful. We were a little early for the full fall colors, but Tree Tops had the best colors that we had found in upper lower Michigan. The only downsides were that there was no microwave in our room. We had presumed it would be a standard amenity.

Slow check in. Late night group outside on first floor talking very loud until 1230AM, no sound proofing for rooms, no elevator. Quite hours were not obeyed by other guests and had to call front desk to have it taken care of. Beautiful golf course.

My husband and I (a bi-racial couple) stayed here as a little getaway (mid-August Monday-Wednesday). Yes, we got a few looks of momentary shock - but, everyone was pleasant and inviting. Since we weren't there to golf, It couldn't have been more perfect! We literally had the whole resort to ourselves all day. We really enjoyed the hot tub, dry sauna, and pools at the Inn. Just a short walk (or even shorter drive and easy parking) to the lodge, we loved the peacefulness of the outdoor pool that connects to the inside pool. The hot tub outside was amazing! We went up to the sports bar at the top of the hill for dinner. The sunset view over the trees was worth catching! The patio was an extra bonus even though it's shared. One thing to consider - the rooms at the Inn do not have microwaves, but there is one in the lobby. This lobby doesn't have a desk attendant - just a small area to play cards or eat.

Terrible! Never again. Dirty, big roach in the room, locked in room due to poor condition of door lock. Never again at that dump. Should be torn down. Poorly maintained.

Nice place. Poor customer oriented staff.
