Treetops Resort

I made my reservation online and paid in full online, upon check in they did NOT have my reservation so the lady said she would have to make a new one, i was ok with that. What i wasn't ok with is it took over a hour for her to do so, because she took a group of 6 men, a couple before me, plus 2 peoples complaints, wvwn though I had already been there before them. She literally STOPPED doing my reservation/ check in to attend to them. Even though I had expressed my frustration after the group of 6, considering i had 2 children with me she still proceeded to take the next 4 people. Finally I got back in line and refused to have patience anymore seems how my kindness and patience was being taken for granted. All this lady said to me was she hadn't had time to complete my reservation so she has to still do it. I have worked hospitality for 10+ years and never have i seen a hotel staff handle a guest situation like this. No way to live up to the Treetops name.

It was great. Off season so I had the hot tub to myself. It could have been hotter and only two jets were working. Room was wonderful! Barmaid at the sports bar was super nice and helpful! Give her a raise! I will be back

It was very convenient for skiing and tubing. Pools and hot tubs were very nice too.

Great skiing friendly staff

Check-in was a disaster. They did not have our reservations saved on file even though it was paid in full and we had our paperwork. It took 45 minutes for them to sort it out. In that time, they tried to get us to pay AGAIN, claiming they'd later subtract the one payment they didn't use. The restaurants in town were all closed by the time it was sorted out, so we were forced to order pizza. Then, we got to our room and the hallway and room reeked of marijuana. I hadn't been there in 10 years, and it is amazing how far downhill the place has gone.

We weren't informed upon check-in that housekeeping was only performed by requesting "stay over" service and when we did request it in person at the front desk the room still was never serviced during 3 days of stay. We had to request towels at the front desk every evening, the used linen was never removed, the trash was never taken out of the room, bed was never made, etc. although daily housekeeping was advertised on the Hotels.com site. We weren't informed until we arrived that the restaurants were all closed for remodeling, there was no coffee service except the small in-room coffeemaker. The accommodations were excellent but the services as advertised on this website were virtually nonexistent.

I liked the indoor and outdoor whirlpool.

The room was very clean, but the halls needed vacuuming. The walls are paper thin. The people next door to us were up late talking and listening to music even though the policy says quiet after 10:30 pm. The food at the restaurant was ok. My husband had the beef brisket which he said was fine and I had the alfredo pasta. If I didn't know better, they just boiled the pasta and put a store bought sauce on it. After dinner we went to have coffee and Baileys at the Sports Bar. The cup were expresso cups and the cost of each cup was $8. A little expensive for what we received. The positive thing was that the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Maybe if I was at the resort for golf, it would have been better.

Most workers we met were friendly and seemed genuinely interested that we were enjoying ourselves.
