The location is stunning and the staff were very helpful. The air conditioning was good. The pool was very welcome in the heat.

The rooms were tired, the decoration was poor. We paid for 2 double partial seaview rooms with only one person staying in each and paid full price but no complimentary bottles of water in a hot country! Please provide facilities for making a fried egg at breakfast!

This hotel is a very specific experience and you should know the pros and cons before choosing it. Pros: outstanding view from your balcony on most floors, quality comfortable beds, clean, quiet, very close location to the main part of Taormina, excellent breakfast buffet with fresh food, decent self serve espresso machines, friendly staff and great views, good water pressure and temperature, strong A/C when needed, ample free bottled water delivered to your room every day, strong wifi signal in our room. Cons: the access road to the hotel is short, but very steep and you will be walking up and down it every time you leave the hotel. Some taxis won't drive down. There is one small elevator for all floors so we climbed 5 flights of stairs quite a few times. The room decor is very dated: think cross between 80's dorm room and hostel. The extra mattresses in the hall didn't help the ambience. It also took us a minute to realize the rock decor on our hallway (floor 3) was actually the cliff side the hotel is built in to. There is no restaurant on site for evening meals. Limited closet/drawer space. The biggest con for us was a treacherous bathtub/ shower combo where the tub bottom is not wide enough for two normal size feet to stand on and it is slippery. Every shower felt like a dare. Still, for the price the location can't be beat. We would likely stay here again for all the pros, but only as long as everyone in our party was safely able to navigate the location.

Walls were thin can hear conversations and lack of privacy on terraces.

The room we were given felt very very old and out dated. We were also placed right below the dining area so it woke us up every morning with all the moving around they did upstairs and it was very excessive noise

Beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea from the large balconies of each room, the rooms were big, and we were close to the town center of Taormina. Breakfast has a nice variety but there is no egg or omelet station. The pool is big with a nice sitting area.

The Euro Stars - Taormina is 50 yrs old and shows it. Our bathroom door wouldn't close & shower leaked water all over the floor, some electrical sockets were loose, and none were updated. Wallpaper is peeling & paint is fading everywhere. Worse, the hotel is built into a cliff with extremely limited access for cars & buses and most are forced to park at the top of a hill and walk down a 30-degree incline that's 200 feet to the hotel, as are guests waking into town. There's no way to avoid this horrible access and we found no help with luggage either. On departure, our car could not access the hotel, and we were forced to carry 7 pieces of luggage up the hill with no assistance whatsoever. The single elevator is also inadequate to service the hotel as my wife was forced to use the service elevator to reach the lobby. At check out, we discovered the hotel over charged us but couldn't figure out how to reimburse us.

errori sul sito internet dell’hotel, disagio dopo aver constatato che l’indirizzo riportato sul sito dell’hotel è errato, che il centralino internazionale della catena Eurostars fatica a capire e parlare l’italiano, che Booking non mi ha avvisato che ci sarebbe stato un surplus di 30€ al giorno per il parcheggio dell’auto. Insomma in hotel tutto bene, i servizi correlati, anche quelli di Booking, imprecisi e imbarazzanti. Altra chicca: in camera non c’è lo scovolino per pulire il water. Contattata la reception mi hanno risposto che sono direttive della sede centrale. Ovviamente ho preteso di avere uno scovolino onde evitare al personale delle pulizie il compito ingrato e umiliante di grattare la mia merda e quella degli altri clienti.
