Laurel Inn Condominium

I do not have much positive to share, as the number of issues I encountered during my stay significantly outweighed the aspects I liked. Perhaps the location was the one redeeming quality.

I booked this apartment for a family trip to the Smoky Mountains and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations especially given the premium price I paid, likely due to last minute booking. The apartment was referred to me by a colleague, so I had high hopes. However, I was not provided with any details about the floor plan beforehand. Upon arrival, I noticed that the unit was located at the end of the floor, with a large pile of garbage situated right outside our window. This trash remained there throughout our stay, attracting flies and creating an unpleasant environment. Inside the apartment, the condition of the amenities was disappointing. The kitchenette came with two burners one was non-functional and the other worked only intermittently. The TV remote in the living room did not work, which made it impossible to change channels. The cookware and utensils provided did not appear to be clean, and I was uncomfortable using them due to hygiene concerns. Additionally, the wall above the sofa showed visible water marks and paint damage, which detracted from the overall appearance and made the space feel neglected. Given the high cost and the range of issues we encountered, I did not feel the apartment provided good value for money. I will likely explore other options in the future. I hope the owner takes this feedback constructively and makes improvements to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Location is the best part! The easy accessibility to downtown and the best view u can get from bottom is the plus point. We have been here 2 times and both times minimum 2-3 bears have visited the property roaming into parking area and passing by

The bathrooms are slightly small, and commode was wobbly. Towels though clean were old and may be refreshing them would be gr8. Sofa and carpet of steam cleaned will make the cleanliness level go above average

Bedroom with garden tub made the room very tight to move around and store luggage

Very nice !! One drawback is limited storage space for bedroom/ bathroom for personal items. An inexpensive improvement would be to add a second luggage rack in the closet for when 2 adults are sharing the bedroom !! OTHERWISE REALLY NICE Condominium for a short stay !!

I’m up late at night and every time we stay there ,there is a lot of banging around and what sounds like construction of some kind going on in at least one room and sometimes more. Sometimes it wakes us but not this visit.
