Spyglass Inn

The room was clean and well-maintained, and the pool area was also in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable and contributed to a restful stay. The staff was courteous, professional, and welcoming throughout my visit. I especially appreciated the property’s close proximity to the beach, just a short walk away. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, offering a quiet environment along with a beautiful view. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

The beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Nice location off the 101. Quiet.

The carpet was extremely worn out and dirty! After walking on the floor barefoot or with socks our feet turned black. We let the office know about this issue and asked if housekeeping can vacuum the next morning. This did not help the situation. Our feet were still getting dirty from walking on the carpet in our room. Very disappointing. The curtains were also worn and had some dirty spots. Management should consider a deep clean of the carpets and replacing the curtians.

Rooms are falling apart,old and out dated. Many better options right down the road on same coastline at same rate.

Location was beautiful, but not a quiet and calming place to stay on the beach. People and families with children everywhere. NOT a quiet relaxing getaway spot.

I booked our stay online, however, I needed several rooms some with special request for my parents as they’re elderly, so I felt the need to have to place a call to talk to someone about some details I needed to establish prior to our arrival. I spoke with Jodi and she helped me out with all the details I needed. Jodi was very professional, knowledgeable when it came to the property and the fine details of the rooms layout. etc. she was able to get my Dad who is 87 in the downstairs room with a walk-in shower as he has to get around with a walking cane. The rooms were very nice and clean and the view from the 2nd floor balcony was incredible. The fire pit really made the stay even more memorable. After returning to the hotel from a wedding rehearsal dinner, my wife and I had a sweet tooth and walked to the office and the most adorable, outgoing lady behind the reception desk gave us a recommendation to fill the sweet tooth craving. Its was directly across the street from the hotel named Depalo & Sons gourmet market, and deli. They’re baked goods ranged cake, cookies, Italian, pastries, etc., etc. The lady at the Spyglass Inn office said that the red velvet cake was her favorite so needless to say my wife and I had to buy her a slice for her to enjoy her late night shift. Thanks again Spyglass Inn for making our trip memorable. Steve

We loved the location. The ocean view was nice and the firepits very enjoyable. It was an unseasonably warm week so the fireplace wasn't used but it is very nice. Easy drive to downtown
