Spyglass Inn

We had a sea view room with a balcony. The view was lovely and the facilities were great. We enjoyed the fire pit and the pool.

There is not very much that you can walk to.

Our stay at the Spyglass Inn was very nice! The view from our balcony was awesome! The complimentary bottle of sparkling cider and card for my birthday was a nice surprise!

Location and cleanness

A little bit over priced

We were traveling through the area and had made this reservation in advance. The location is great. Lilly at the front desk was exceptional and so nice. The room we were giving was old and dark. It felt dirty. We were traveling with two small dogs so this may explain some of it. Our view as of the parking lot next door. We will not stay here again due to the location of the room and the room itself

Schmutzige Laken, sehr schmutziger Teppich. Ausstattung teilweise kaputt (Schiebetüren, Vorhänge). Unfunktional (z.B. keine Handtuchstange oder Haken), kein Zimmerservice während des Aufenthalts). Gute Lage haben nur Zimmer im Gebäude zum Meer. Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht.

Great location

We stayed there for 3 nights but the hotel didn't feel clean or upkept. The room is really dated and we didn't get room service all 3 days! When we called, we were told we were supposed to read the map that says if you want room service you have to call the front desk - so we didn't get new towels, trash pick up or anything during our whole stay. That was disappointing. The encounters with the staff have been friendly, so this is not about the people who work there - more about the policies in place for a stay that was not cheap.

Nice old property

Stayed twice in the last year, very nice but the staff in office, especially one person was unfriendly, gave curt non answers regarding check in. Other staff, no issues but that person is not helping your property.

Great place to stay, very clean, quiet and comfy. Beautiful views and a little hike down to a private beach area. Fire pits on site are convenient and they had snores kits for sale in the lobby. Staff was great!

You have to pay for parking. $10 a night.

Great location, but our room was very ‘worn in’ bathroom seed clean, but the carpet was so gross our feet were black from just a bit of walking around barefoot. Yuck!
