Perdido Beach Resort

The hotel is still beautiful. The property has made changes it’s under Marriot I believe. The hot tub and indoor pool I believe is under construction or taken out. It wasn’t visible.

I booked a room I think sometime in March only to discover when I arrived on May 23, 2026 that my reservation has been canceled without notice. When checking in the front desk clerk ask have I checked in because it was showing that I have and I let her know I’ve just made arrived. Moments later she insisted that I canceled the reservation and I explained why will I show up from driving almost 7 hours. They contacted booking.com because that tried to put them in fault. She insisted the hotel sent me a cancellation email.I haven’t received an email from the property about cancellation. She stated it had to been a glitch on their end. Earlier that day the same thing happened to a guy. The only email I received from Perdido Beach Resort was stating on the beach level floor, the pizza parlor was under renovation. Poor management, I think they gave away my room. Very unprofessional and that’s bad for business.

Great location and the amenities.

The only complaint was they wouldn’t let me do a free cancellation because my mom had just passed. And they denied the request. Id stay here again and hopefully enjoy it more next time.

Beautiful property and great location. We loved the beach and pool area. The front desk staff were very friendly and super accommodating. The beach chair staff and staff members at the mini store were nice as well. Enjoyed the live music from the local talented artists.

This is the 5th or 6th time staying at this resort. We were disappointed that the indoor pool had been closed down to prepare for a Golf Simulator. We were also disappointed that the hot tub had closed down and the pizza place was “closed for remodeling “..which it was like that the last time we visited too. The biggest problem we had was at Latitudes and Voyager. Latitudes waited forever to seat people the 5 days that we were there. This happened daily and there were plenty of open tables..they just chose not to seat anyone. The dinner meals we ordered from Latitudes were extremely salty and the mixed drinks were terrible..we couldn’t finish either. We made reservations at Voyagers for our last night at the Resort. This reservation was made days in advance and we almost cancelled due to the food/service experience we had at Latitudes and the fact that we witnessed others being turned away EVERY night and told their reservation “wasn’t ready yet”. We took the chance on our reservation, arrived 15 minutes early to check in and expected to wait for our reservation time. After waiting 30 minutes PAST our reservation time we were finally seated. The male host (blonde hair/slicked back pony tail) is very rude, unorganized, and unprofessional. The tall blonde hostesses seemed like she didn’t know what was going on and couldn’t remember anything. For the amount of money you spend to eat at Voyager’s , you would expect better service and courtesy. I dont understand the strict reservation rules (guests can’t be 10 minutes late or you lose your table and are charged) that are in place..when the establishment itself can’t uphold their end of the reservation. And..before it’s said..no..the restaurant wasn’t packed out when we were seated..there were plenty of open tables. If we ever stay again, we will avoid eating at the resort and advise others to do the same. The Pelican Grill across the street had OUTSTANDING food and service as well as Moe’s BBQ.

The cost of the rooms were high but you get what you pay for.

Quarto limpo e aconchegante e a piscina é maravilhosa também.

Escolhi o quarto com vista para a praia, mas chegando lá a vista pegava uma parte da praia e parte da restinga. Achei muito feia a paisagem, e não ficaria nesse quarto de novo. Vale mais a pena escolher beach front view pelo valor que é.

Everything! We were spoiled! Can’t wait to come back!
