Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Daphne

The breakfast was adequate.

Room was really small.

Bugs on the bed

Everything was excellent; bed was comfortable, the room was clean & spotless. Ease of check in went smoothly.

Staff was very responsive to our needs.

Cleanliness and maintenance were not up to expectations for a Wyndham property. There was litter all over the carpets, The television was not connected to cable, and the toilet seat had not been installed yet. Maintenance responded and corrected the situation.

The room and bathroom were clean. Parking was convenient to the front door, and getting luggage inside was easy. The mattress was comfortable, and it was quiet.

When you sat on the bed, the bed frame sounded like someone was coming in through the door. The floor sank like there was a hole in it next to the end of the bed by the a/c. I was a single lady staying on the 4th floor. I came up the elevator with a luggage cart and tried to get to my room, but all of a sudden, a man was walking down the hall towards me. It was a "little" unnerving! It would have been nice to be told that other people were on that floor. I thought the clerk was putting me on that floor away from everyone. Seemed that only construction workers were staying in the hotel, and I did not feel safe. Nightstands had holes in them, and an electrical cord was under the bed for the lamps to have electricity. Plug for TV was practically hanging out of the wall...I'm surprised there hasn't been a fire.
