Please ignore any bad reviews we have just come back from a 7 night stay as a family of 4 with two boys aged 13. We had a wonderful time here the food was fantastic we went full board and I am so glad we did there was always lots to choose from meats, fish, pastas, salad fruit , cheeses, chips potatoes the list is endless , caters for everyone including vegetarians and fussy eaters. Rooms were very clean and the cleaner came every day. Staff all friendly, good entertainment and pool area was great with fun activities for the kids and aqua fitness. Close proximity to bars and restaurants and beautiful sandy beach. Fridge in room would have been nice but in all honesty I couldn’t fault it and didn’t want to leave. Definitely would return.

I usually give everywhere I go a chance especially when you read some reviews where they say about outdated rooms and lack of food choice, I take that with a pinch of salt. The hotel itself is quite loud depending on the time of season. After a week there at the start of August it is basically an 18-30s holiday for the students, you hear them coming in at silly o’clock laughing and shouting being drunk. We did have a room overlooking one of the pools, which both were supposed to close at 9pm. Some guests have other ideas though and continue to play loud music and play around. Till past 11 on a couple of nights. We spoke with a jet2 rep at the airport on the way home and she was surprised we weren’t warned about this time of year and recommended coming out of season. We had a 6 year old with us, who was trying to swim in the main pool, but was knocked out of the way or adults would just get in her way. Everyone just congregates in the shallow area near the steps, it’s even worse when the animation team come out for water gym as it’s all done in that bit of the pool as the rest is just too deep. In terms of the food here, unfortunately some of the other reviews are correct. The food is delivered to the hotel as the kitchen isn’t really big enough to store or make food for the guests, so in most cases it’s either lukewarm, or cold which also has the impact on taste. The other thing I would recommend and this was also advice from our jet2 rep, cut into the meat and check it first. We had a few occasions where the meat was still raw in the middle from the live cooking station and as it was chicken and pork it was a real concern so actually took it to the restaurant manager to be dealt with. I did also find mold growing on the watermelon which was taken away by a member of the kitchen staff when I flagged it with them. We did start eating out after this as it does knock your confidence in what they are serving. Food out is reasonably priced and local restaurants are about the same price as at home McDonald’s, KFC and Burger King are more expensive. It’s also worth noting that there is no shop on site, so if you’re not all inclusive I would recommend going to the golden supermarket over the road of the hotel where you can pick up kids juice and 2ltr bottles of pop for a couple of euro. There is also a Lidl and other major supermarket round the corner on the way up to water world. The staff themselves I found really nice and supportive, we did say to the rep it would have been nice being told about what happens at meal times etc etc as you’re checked in and left to your own devices until the room is ready. But anytime we had a question or needed a recommendation go the area they were great. The resort is as I say perfect for 18-30’s at this time of year. All the shops on the strip are tattoo parlours, tat I ❤️ what ever, cannabis shops or mobile phone repair shops. I did laugh as I checked the uber eats app and found a pharmacy would deliver things to the hotel. When you click on it the most recommended items were condoms, viagra, lube, pregnancy tests, sti tests and deodorant. So it kind of shows what they’re intended audience are. Overall perfect for if you’re just wanting to party, not ideal for family holidays.

Arrived 4/8/25 reception staff although we were half board said we were now all inclusive - good start nice perk so we thought - less than 24 hours later we had our room card blocked making us go to reception and my husband approached in the evening full bar by member of staff no explanation to cut just his wristband off and said ‘get to reception’ - disgusting attitudes their fault wrong wristbands not ours. We went with 7yo and nothing for him to do bar swim no multilingual staff or events people so hadn’t got a clue what was going on! Food barely edible just had chips for 3 days then ate out couldn’t bare it. Room and towels cleaned daily but not sheets - hotel very dated as are fixtures and fittings . Shame as had hoped Lloret would be as remembered 30 years ago but clearly not moved with the times old fashioned - not recommended unless you like bland unseasoned food only cut out for some European tastebuds not English at all - shame when compared to our previous holidays at other destinations who catered for everyone and were multilingual . Pool inflatables were allowed depending on which guard was on didn’t make sense one allows one doesn’t ? Allowing adults to join in kids games a bit weird on inflatable slide one day it was supposed to be kids day !! Kids barged out the way by arrogant adults - night entertainment and I use the word loosely rubbish - flamenco show , old fashioned magician , balloon making and some sort of karaoke but again needed an interpreter , I could go in but want to forget quickly

After reading bad reviews was dreading staying here tbh. Was a family of 6 and overall wasn’t too bad. People were saying u had to hire fridge at €15 a day LIES €16 per week. (aunt is diabetic so has to have one for insulin) wouldn’t say it’s a 4 stars Jet2 say but rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. No unruly kids as in previous reviews but that’s down to parenting! We were at the back of hotel no view but fairly quiet. Can hear the youth coming in from clubs early hours but it that type of hotel. Was prepared to change due to reading reviews but actually happy we didn’t 😀

The room was not ready when we arrived even though we arrived two hours after check in, we were given the key and upon entering the room realised that it had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We were given a complimentary drink and when it was ready we were short a bed for our group so had to go back to reception to get this sorted, which it was, the room was very small for 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 13) to keep this in mind when booking as I was going expecting it to be a little bigger from the angle of the photographs on website! Very busy hotel and not enough loungers at pool area, staff were pleasant overall and the breakfast is very varied and caters for all needs. Overall a pleasant holiday

Visited this hotel for 5 days with my husband and 13 year old son in July 2025. We were staying full board with a twin room and pool view. The hotel transfer from Girona airport took around 40 minutes, which is less than we expected, so that was good. On arrival at the hotel we did thing omg what have we arrived at. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel, I'd personally say its a 2 star. The hotel is extremely outdated in all the main areas, aesthetically its stuck in the dark ages and requires bringing up to date. The food was also disappointing, compared to lower star hotels I've stayed in the choice was minimal for a 3/4 star hotel my husband said he expected much better food wise. It was very basic and majority of the time the food was cold, the only good bit was the very small live cook area where one chef was cooking but the queue for that is always massive due to only being one cook and the only decent part of the food each day. We did stay full board so had tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and we did eat out a few times due to lack of quality food. My child did always find something to eat though and didn't go hungry. As for the hotel itself it was reasonably spacious, and clean, cleaners go around daily. All staff from cleaners, reception and dining hall staff, bartenders were always friendly and welcoming so we had no issues with staff, they were always happy to help and polite. The room we had was really basic, it didn't have a mini fridge or kettle which was really disappointing but it did have a hairdryer, and Aircon that worked so that is a bonus I guess. Rooms were average size, we had 3 single beds for a family of 3, but there wasn't a sofa or seating area, there was a balcony overlooking the pool though. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable though. But we had plenty of wardrobe storage for our things and drawer space in the bedroom for our belongings. The guests were all very mixed range in ages from families, to older people to groups of youths and school trips. There are two outdoor pools which are nice enough but they get steep really fast and I found one pool quite dangerous. The hidden gem was the indoor spa pool, we used this twice, it has a decent size indoor pool with overhead waterfall fountain, a cold bath and a jacuzzi, it seems not many people book it or use it, so it was very relaxing to use, we loved this part of the holiday/hotel. There's also a gym that you can use too. You can hire a safe but we didn't bother. We felt safe at the resort. Location wise, it's pretty good. It's a minute walk to the local shops and about a 10 minute walk to other shops, bars and clubs. It's a 15 minute walk to the Tuesday market and also to waterworld, and a 40 minute drive from Girona airport. Its a 10 minute walk down to the beach, which is a lovely beach too. There's also a burger king about 5-10 minute walk away. Also a lidl 10 minute walk away. There was evening entertainment but we didn't really use it so can't really comment on this but it sounded OK from what we heard. If your after a bargain holiday for a reasonable price then I'd say this is the place, if your looking for something a little more modern and luxurious it's not. It is what you make of it here. For the money we paid I'd say it was acceptable, would have rated it more if it wasn't as outdated and there was more food xhoice, but as I say staff were all lovely and we felt safe during our travels. The area is OK. I wouldn't rate the 4 stars I believe it has, I'd probably rate it a 2-3 star at a push. Room was spacious but 2 put of 3 beds were not comfy, my sons bed was OK though. Hotel in needs of more modernisation and better food choices

All excellent from the food to the service, cleaning and pool. Yes it looks a bit old, but it’s clean and welcoming. Staff were great - dinner hall , cleaning , reception, bar. One minus will be they assigned a rather small room for a family of 4 - 2 over 10yo children- instead of a twin room, but we managed. Everything is close to the hotel - beach, bars, fun.
