La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, Mallorca

Most gorgeous property and most helpful and gracious staff ever. Pool was wonderful. Breakfast over the top. Lovely spa. The art work all over the resort is incredible, courtesy of local artists. Breathtaking views of the mountains. Loved everything. Can’t wait to come back.

I’ve traveled the world in my 80 years and La Residencia in Majorca, Spain is the most striking and wonderful place. I’ve stayed. The views are fantastic. The rooms are delightful. The staff is fantastic and the food is beyond. Delicious of any other resort I’ve ever stayed in. if you can do it, Best resort you must go.

This is one of the best hotel resort experiences - wonderful location, fabulous facilities and the attention from staff and management 10/10. Have stayed in some of the best resorts around the world and this is definitely up there with the best.

Shame the most excellent El Olivo is now taster menu only. Was always a highlight dining there. Not sure everyone wants that time of dining so a la carte option would be welcome. Should have stayed for longer... next time.

Lovely chilled out break

We are huge fans of Belmond and La Residencia quickly became one of my favorite Belmond hotels. The location is perfect up in the mountains of Mallorca - right next to and within the small village of Deia and also close to the sea. The view from our room was stunning. Food at El Olivo (tasting menu) and Tramuntana (seafood grill) was spectacular. Service was above and beyond - everyone was so lovely and remembered us. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was next level on all levels. The customer service was the best I have experienced in a natural helpful and friendly way. The food was incredible inside and outside the hotel. We loved our time there spending a lot of time walking through the beautiful town of Diea and lounging by the pool. We will be back

Nothing we loved it

we have been coming to the Residencia ever since it was owned by Richard Branson . its now part of lvmh, belmond and its luxury personified . We had a superb room with a decent sized plunge pool with the most amazing views from our terrace that excited us every single day of our week at the hotel, the mountains towering above us with the little houses dotted about , the sea in the distance , truly beautiful . The staff are excellent as genuinely friendly as you might wish, and the place looks a dream - the immaculate gardens at the front of the hotel , the donkey path the bar at the front of the hotel where a rose champagne tasted just that bit better than anywhere else. We found the miro restaurant in the evening just a bit too bright with the evening sun some branches had been cut back making it a bitt too bright- shame as the staff in the Miro were all excellent so we decided to eat at the tramuntana restaurant near the pool for lunch and dinner - which we really enjoyed- we looked forward to it . Staff there again were terrific .. This is a hotel that is expensive - but worth it , of course Thomas Moon the friendly manager is in evidence and he chats to the guests and ensures the place runs smoothly. A superb hotel , unique , and we look forward to returning -very much !
