Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Beaufort West, SC

Location was good

Hardly any staff when you needed them. Breakfast not stocked. Pool gross. Sink and tub both had draining issues.

Nice location, friendly staff, breakfast was good, pool was small but it was warm and it was very very strong smell of chlorine

Elevator kept breaking

Mold present on bathtub and shower caulking. Cracked electrical outlets We booked through delta stays to use 150$ credits we had. We each had that- so we booked one day through me. One through my wife. I called and spoke to the main country Inn and Suites to assure our rooms would stay the same room. I called the hotel itself twice explaining this. Each time, they said they noted it. When I checked in, the guy had no idea that we needed the same room both days. But he said he fixed it I got a call at 1 pm the next day, while enjoying the beach, by another worker wondering why we weren’t out of the room. She too was clueless we were staying another night. Because we were on the beach , connection by my phone was terrible. We got cut off before I could explain what she should have known. A gentleman was nice enough to let me borrow his phone to call her back. It took 20 minutes to fix. 20 minutes of beach time The place is dark. Staff is not very friendly. Terribly short of where we usually stay Will we ever be back?

La piscina estaba sucia

We have stayed at this Radisson several times before but we were very disappointed this visit with our room. Bathroom shower area had rust and black mold. Some furniture looked in need of replacement-worn and weary-, and room needed refreshing with paint. Also our room was on the first floor and windows had sheer curtains which provided no privacy from outside pedestrian traffic. Heavier drapes could not be closed. Very disappointing

Time to refresh this place

Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Hot water for tea could be hot, instead of Luke warm. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here several times but this time our shower area had rust and dirt/mold . Time for a redo. Our room was on the first floor and curtains in main section of window were semi sheer which didn't provide much privacy.
