The breakfast and thats it!

When we first got our room it smelled so bad we had to ask for another one, the second one wasn't as smelly but seemed like the whole place was falling apart. In the bathroom everything was clogging, and there was some rust pretty much everywhere. The breakfast was decent, I wish I would have taken pictures cus the hotel may be ok for one night if you're really that tired and can't find anything else but since we had already made reservations and paid and we had a 12 hour drive we really had no choice.

The location was good, staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed on the third floor, was a odd smell in the hallway by the elevator. Also could occasionally smell weed in the hallway. There where no trash bags in our room and the shampoo and body wash in the shower was empty

We loved the extra large room with a door to separate the bedroom from the living room area. There was a sleeper sofa in the living room and two queen beds in the sleeping area. There was a microwave and small fridge. The breakfast in the morning were very good and you can eat all you want. Also, the pool was the kids favorite activity. It was good temperature and not to deep for them (3 - 4 feet). Lastly, there was a wonderful Moss Trail that is paved to hike around the town or marsh area. It was a great getaway.

The breakfast was the same every morning. It is about a 30 minute drive to a good beach.

Front desk staff was pleasant and quick check in process.

The 1st room - entering the room turned on the light and immediately noticed a roach on the bed. We went back to front desk and requested another room and told the front desk why…she requested to see the picture and immediately checked us into another room. 2nd room was cleared before settling in; however, the hotel could use new towels as the wash cloths, hand towels had noticeable black dirty marks even if they were washed. Laundry staff should just throw those away instead of washing them to reuse for future guests. Window curtains need to be washed as they had noticeable food stains on them. The indoor pool did not look clean either. The pool water looked cloudy which was a shame and probably why guests did not use facilities.

I have stayed here before for several times. I believe management or ownership has changed? I will not stay again!

2 towels in the room. My daughter and granddaughter used them at the pool. I went to the front desk to ask for more towels, I was told that there was none. Said when guests bring the dirty towels back to be washed that's when they can be cleaned until then no more. I said sir I need to shower and he said sorry "no clean towels, no more". The two days I was at this hotel, I never saw a maid or was offered maid service. No trash bags in the trash cans. Spray paint on carpet???? Very flat pillows...Not at all worth the money. Not even close. The picture below is of 3 pillows stacked together, shows how flat they are.

location ok..

the whole place was not clean.. not maintained. People sat in their cars in the parking lot.. doing drugs.. smoking pot.. front desk couldn't generate a receipt for our bill during checkout. He said he couldn't do it until 530 am. He said he would email it to us. have not received it.
