Holiday Inn Express and Suites New Orleans Airport by IHG

I stayed here one night only due to a late flight cancellation. It is not super close to the hotel - 15 minutes drive in traffic and 10 minutes without traffic, but it is reasonably convenient to the airport and lots closer than downtown. They have airport shuttle service that I was able to use both ways, which runs from 4:00 am to midnight on the hour from the hotel, or on demand at the airport. There was a "free breakfast" and an exercise room, but I did not get to use them. The check-in was fairly easy, and the room was clean, spacious, comfortable. The pictures already on the website are accurate. Very reasonable price.

The property was neat and organized. The selections for the complimentary breakfast was nice. They didn’t have the waffle maker, they had a pancake making machine. They fruit was also fresh and not wrapped in plastic. The Staff was friendly as well. I would definitely go back.

What I didn’t like was the location…it’s in an industrial area near the airport. Not too many places to go to eat around. Its about 20 -30!minutes from downtown.

Asking questions to management to try to resolve some problems

Breakfast used disposable utensils and plates which generates too much waste. This is poor.

This location was a very short drive from the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was in walking distance to a nice sports bar. We took the free shuttle to the airport in the morning. Great experience overall and I would defiantly book at this location again.

No issues with this stay.
