Hawaiian Inn Beach Resort

The room was very outdated. The quilts on the 2 beds were very old looking, and had burn holes and stains on them. Sheets and pillowcases were also very worn and somewhat discolored.

Carpet at the beach is dirty. Needs to be replaced by tile. AC vents were rusted. Mattresses needs to be replaced. If you laid down on the edge, you rolled to the center. Linens were clean but deteriorating. Stove was rusting. Not place I will return to. Too many options in the area.

Great Beachfront and pool however rooms are very outdated and Bed is very old and in need of replacement

My husband and I enjoyed our oceanfront room with a kitchenette, we are not people that are hard to please, The front desk staff upon arrival was very welcoming , The room was actually really cute I wont lie the carpet needs to be removed expeditiously it felt damp and sticky, this is obviously a older property just needs a lil TLC and it can easily be one of the best in that area. We loved the clean sparkling pool and tiki bar, and had a ball playing the arcade games like kids. I will return, Lots of the bad reviews are from people with caviar taste but clam chowder money. Its a decent place to have a get away...Thank you Hawaiian inn.

Knew going in that this was an older establishment. That being said. The lobby and pool area were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was pretty rough. Worn out mattress and bed frame. Sheets didnt fit. Door to the room would only open half way and had to be forced shut. Website really needs to be updated. Property no longer has the hot tub and mini golf course advertised on the web page. Direct beach access and the indoor heated pool were out of commission. Due to the recent hurricane. Not a big deal. But, would have been nice to have gotten a reply to my email before the trip asking about property conditions.

Dirty, room wasn’t able to be properly temperature controlled, humidifiers were full, electrical outlets weren’t functioning, shortage of towels, and overall rundown.

While I was in Daytona recently for work, so was Milton. Hurricane Milton that is. Just about every hotel in a 30 mile radius was booked. It was either here or $800 a night at the Hilton. My work wasn't as excited about the Hilton idea as I was. So Hawaiian it was to ride out the "sprinkle" that was heading our way. The place in my opinion could be updated. The when I walked into my room, my opinion quickly changed. The room was updated, very nice and clean. Not to mention the view, even during a hurricane was awesome. I wasn't sure if I was going to depart the next day or not so I only booked for 1 night. Because of Milton, I needed to stick around for 1 more day and everywhere else was sold out. Including the Hawaiian. When I was checking out, I was chatting with the staff present and I shared my problem. Right away the woman offered a room so I didn't have to sleep in my jeep. And instead of marking it up and taking advantage of the situation, she gave it to me for normal price. Staff is friendly, place is clean, plenty of things to do within walking distance. I would stay here again

the room was ok but the hot water knob in the shower kept coming off.

I’ve stayed here many of times but always through an owner. This was my first time staying through the actual hotel. The room was a little less than what I was use to but still served its purpose. Staff was nice, view was fantastic as usual.

Ok first off, the beautiful girl at the front desk was fabulous.I keep forgetting her name, but I think it was Serina or something close to that. She went above and beyond. She deserves a raise. I would really have to stretch to find anything to complain about but if I did it would be that the air conditioner was TOO cold.But that could have been due to my wife. The only problem we had was our rental car got towed.But I can't blame that on the hotel because they gave us a parking permit and told my wife to make sure it's on the rear-view mirror OR the dash. She let it fall on the floor and I had to pay $160.00 to get it back. (They only had it 30 minutes.) Other than that, everything went smooth as a baby's butt. Even though a hurricane hit while we were there. Would definitely consider staying there again.
