Very clean and very relaxing. Unique in many aspects. Practices are environmentally friendly. The grounds are well kept with a variety of flora grown in their natural environment. The beaches are kept in their natural state. The Ocean waves enhances relaxation. Simply heavenly!

Beautiful property in a lovely, quiet location which provided the opportunity to experience Jamaica and all its culture. Our room had the best views and Jakes had excellent and friendly service. We had a great time and hope to return!

This is our second trip in 7 months! We stayed Hope house for our daughters birthday and enjoyed that trip so much we decided to celebrate our anniversary there again. The beautiful Oceanview villa, the food but most of all the people will be the reason we will be back for many more celebrations. We dined at Jakes to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Adrian(who we met at hope house and who coordinated our stay then) sent over a bottle of wine. We frequented Jack Sprat(another place on the property to eat) and the is beyond exceptional. One of our servers Cassandra, along with many of the servers there, was sweet and attentive. I can't wait to head back!!!

The staff at Jake’s were professional and friendly, especially Trudy at the bar! The restaurant had a revolving menu with delicious choices. I treated myself to a fabulous massage at the spa. My ocean view room was very comfortable. This resort is pretty remote with only a few restaurants nearby but Jake’s provides for all your needs! Great place!

We had a wonderful 5 day getaway at Jake's Hotel last week. It is a sweet, pretty, low key resort with really nice staff. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. There is a nice area to sit near the water and near the rooms. We didn't love the food at the main restaurant, but we totally loved it at the other on-site restaurant, Jack Sprat. We went on some nice walks and tried some other nearby restaurants, particularly liking Eggy's for dinner and Smurfs for breakfast. The drive to and from the airport is 2 1/2 hours, but Andre, one of their drivers, made it as pleasant as possible. We definitely recommend the resort.
