Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Nothing, everything was a disaster. We recently stayed at this resort in Puerto Plata and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst vacation experiences we've had. What was meant to be a relaxing family trip turned into a stressful and frustrating ordeal due to poor communication, broken amenities, and unacceptable service. The problems began at check-in. Despite having a confirmed reservation for multiple rooms under one name, the front desk couldn’t locate it. It took over an hour, and only after insisting on speaking with a manager did they “find” the missing reservations — blaming a hyphen in the last name. This was frustrating and unnecessary. A major disappointment was discovering upon arrival that the main pool was closed for construction — something never mentioned during booking. Not only was this a key reason we chose the resort, but the construction also created a noisy, unpleasant environment. We didn’t receive our rooms until after 6 PM, and by the time we did, we were informed the pool closed at 6:30 PM — yet another letdown. Once in the rooms, the issues continued: Two had non-working air conditioning One had a leaking ceiling Another had a broken shower head and clogged tub A crib for a toddler never arrived Multiple rooms had missing towels, spider webs, and a sewer smell Throughout our stay, we experienced over five power outages. We were also relocated from our originally booked location without explanation. Dining was chaotic — long lines, entry restrictions, and very poor food quality. Spoiled fruit, limited variety, and long waits meant some of us even went to bed hungry

We reported these problems multiple times. In one case, a family member stayed in the room waiting for assistance, only to be handed a mop to deal with the leak. No maintenance or AC support ever arrived. When we returned to reception around 10:30 PM, we were told to wait for the shift change to speak with a manager. We waited with other frustrated guests until nearly midnight, only to find out no manage was was available, and we were later told no such manager worked there. This was the first resort stay for several family members, and it was defined by poor service, broken facilities, lack of communication, and no accountability. We hope the resort seriously considers this feedback and takes steps to improve service, guest communication, and infrastructure. We also expect a formal response and appropriate compensation.

Me gusto el personal por que son muy atentos y súper buenas personas

Que reservamos para el lifestyle tropical y después quw hize una fila muy larga en el check in vienen y me dice que mi reservación fue en el Cofresí the palm y le digo que no es así y me dicen que ellos nos cambiaron de lugar por qué ya no había espacio nos rotaron para el otro hotel sin avisarnos ni nada me parece muy mal aparte de que no me gusto nada que todo nos quedaba lejos y las habitaciones una porquería.
