Castle Court Pub & Rooms

Lovely downstairs seating very comfortable inside, with a lovely bar area. Very good continental breakfast, with lots of choice. Nice staff at check in, bar and breakfast. Special mention to the lovely lady cleaning when we checked out.

Not a great room (10) at the very top so not suitable for some as the stairs were steep and narrow. The room was dated and very small. Unfortunately they don't serve food.

Very friendly staff. Ideal if you don't want to travel, lots of pubs nearby.

The hotel doesn't do evening meals. The room i had was directly over the bar so was noisy up to midnight. There are more expensive rooms that are further away from the bar though.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and service was good at breakfast.

Room was smaller than expected, despite being paying an extra £5 for larger room. The bathroom was tatty and in need of upgrading. Hard to wash your face without banging head on the glass shelf. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was clean.

Cozy and warm and all we needed.

We were on top floor and stairs are narrow. Quite difficult to carry luggage up

The ladies in the morning were so kind and made a lovely breakfast even better by their company.

Tiny tiny improvement would have been fluffier pillows and a little touch up on the decor
