Springhill Suites by Marriott State College

Reservations was for 4 people and they had only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. Had to go front desk to retrieve additional towels

Every employee at the hotel was sincerely friendly…will definitely stay here the next time we’re here at State College. I really can’t say enough about the hospitality of your employees…thank you!!

First of all, I simply wanted to point out that their pool was amazing for the family, and my boys truly enjoyed their time in the pool. However, there were some incidents that I have tried to discuss with the front desk, but they were not receptive of the issues. The faucet was broken and loose which means it was difficult for us to use the sink. I had to resort to the shower area to brush my teeth and wash my hands. This should not have happened and should have been addressed immediately. Secondly, my son’s foot got cut, and it had bled out. I was not understanding how it could happen in the room, and then my sock got ripped apart. I found the issue and put my bag over it so nobody would get hurt. I’ve shown the picture to the front desk and they said that I need to report it online. It should not fall on the customers to address this issue and they need to fix this before it hurts someone else. Lastly, bananas were rotting on the bowl of the counter for breakfast and I have asked for a fresh one, they said that I should use what is already there. They need to work on their customer service and addressing those issues.

Great people

The check in was great. There a few chain restaurants within walking distance. The pool stays open a bit later than most. Decent breakfast options. I believe they are working on the rooms. The one I had was very clean.

Very nice stay here at the SpringHill. The hotel is going through some renovations but remains very quiet and spotless. The rooms are massive and comfortable. The desk and breakfast staff were very nice and professional. I highly recommend staying here as when coming through the area I definitely will be staying.
